Update 28/08/2022 Royal Mail on strike Please be patient

Staff at the sorting and distribution office in Middle Bank are taking the first of four days of industrial action, with walkouts also taking place on 31 August and 8 and 9 September

Letters will not be delivered on strike days and some parcels will be delayed, Royal Mail has warned

The union representing the workers is demanding a pay rise that more closely reflects the current rate of inflation

Royal Mail apologised to customers and said it had contingency plans to minimise the disruption

On strike days it will deliver as many Special Delivery and Tracked 24 parcels as possible, it said. It will also prioritise the delivery of medical prescriptions where possible.

However, it said items posted the day before a strike, during the strike or on the days after may be delayed

Update 6/11/2018 I lost Titan one of my Yorkshire terriers he crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge He been on steroids and other medications daily I guess his little heart just gave up I miss him so much I hope you in heaven little boy playing and enjoying yourself I miss you so much you gave me love unconditional and always had kisses and hugs. Update on 3rd march on snow storm Emma we on red alert in Yorkshire some villagers have no electricity and some have lost there life R.I,P we have been advised so stay indoor only venture out when totally necessary. schools and train stations are closed would love some new pen-pals or happy mail to open.. 28th February 2018 snow we have a snowstorm in England we didn't have a white Christmas in 2017 making up for that now only going out when i need to

Update 14th December 2017! My granddaughter Hope was born 3.41 pm at 32 weeks old very premature and very ill she in intensive care in baby unit Very shocked she made a early arrival Still in shock myself she was due to be born end January 2018 back

update 23rd September came home last night need to rest and have district nurse come to change my dressings Update got admitted to Doncaster royal infirmary on 15th September with a infection went to theater on Sunday 17th September had my belly button cleaned and opened up so I have a open wound with a vacuum attached to my belly button update 14th September still have a infection on my 3rd course of antibiotics 9th September Update I'm on my 2nd lot of antibiotics as I contracted a infection after my belly button hernia operation still in a lot of pain have my appointment on Tuesday with doctor Update 11th august today I go for my pre operation talk on the pros and cons of my belly button hernia operation next Wednesday the 16 th of august. My operation will be early in morning I have to be at hospital for 7.30am Would love some happy mail will be out of action 6 weeks

just found out i'm type 2 diabetic..upDate 24th of February 2017 arrived home from my hospital appointment to have a custom charge card to say I have to pay yet another charge for a swap been posted to me again I'm gonna refuse to pay it £12.05 because the sender either not payed the full postage or customs label was over price again on the contents I don't have the money to pay it UPDATE 19/02/2017 i was rushed into hospital on monday afternoon 13/02/2017 and came out on friday after 4 days in hospital 17/02/2017 and they found some complications as they only find out by a cat scan have a hole in my large bowel which happens to be diverticulitis and i have to go back in hospital in 6 weeks time as i got bruising and inflammation and also my hip been worn down through arthritis and Fibromyalgia just ware and tear as i am on antibiotics and other pain killers i am more receptacle of making some mistakes please be aware and understanding all this would have been avoided if GPs referred me to hospital a lot sooner than they did so now i have a umbilical hernia with membrain split hole in large bowel and hip worn down all because doctors left hernia alone for a full year not did anything about it i would love some happy mail to keep me going thru the following months if anyone would like to do some group swaps to help out keep the groups going that would be a great.help my current swaps will go out as normal i wont be making new swaps till i find out what happening but i have an appointment on the 24/02/2017 to discuss about how they going to operate on my hernia and membrane split but they told me by hospital that they cant operate till at least 6 weeks as i got internal bruising and infectection but i would love to have any happy mail please pm about my address and any group questions please pm me personally

this is the 2nd time in less than a week i have had 2 custom charges both from states 1st one i paid cost me £20-08 to receive a parcel today i was gonna be charged £13.99 i refused to pay as sender is some one again in the states it will be returned back to them ...i was told reason i had these charges becos sender as over priced the items sent to me ..so customs told me not to accept return to sender im sorry not going to pay anymore charges at stupid prices. been on swap bot over 8 years never had this problem before sender should think before adding excess of over pricing items to be sent over seas it the recipient who now as either to pay custom fees or return to sender where it states on custom label they is a fee to pay.
