Hello! 😃. I love to send things out and receive things in the mail and I love postcards from different countries. I love swaps and love getting surprises. I was born and raised in California . When I was on active duty, The Marine Corps brought me to North Carolina and I have been here since 1990. Me and my husband love to do International travel and we both also love to go to the Disney parks and want to visit all the ones overseas someday! I love theme parks, reading, spending time with my animals, going to the movies and shopping. I also love to color and doodle. I am a HUGE Pro Hockey fan and we are Carolina Hurricanes season ticket holders. I LOVE getting swaps with Hurricanes gear! I love things like scarves, keychains, socks, shirts, blankets, stickers ect! As long as it has The Hurricane team logo, I am happy!

I have one fur baby named Sombrita. She is a Chihuahua. I have enjoyed getting animal treats from past swaps! I also have 5 Ducks, 5 Chinese Geese and 14 chickens. I love all my pets and have had them since they were born.

I love working in my garden and seeing all my roses and gardenias bloom every year.

I will rate your swap as soon as I get your item sent to me. I hope you will rate me as soon as you get mine! I send my swaps out on time and NEVER EVER FLAKE! I also never send Junk! If for some reason you cannot rate me with a 5 PLEASE contact me and let me fix it BEFORE leaving anything lower. If you are suppose to receive something from me and it never arrives PLEASE message me. If you are running LATE with mailing me anything LET ME KNOW!! I cannot read minds so please let me know what’s going on. I always try and contact anyone before rating them low. It is not fair to only follow some of the rules. Communication is very important and I am very understanding.

I love music and love everything from Dance music to Enya and everything in between. I am not a big hard rock or rock and roll person but I love music from the 1920s- 1950s. I was born in the wrong time period!!

I love reading (and collecting) about anything to do with the 1920s-1960s, Vintage housewife advertising, Books on Beauty, Housekeeping, Charm School, Etiquette, Social history with a vintage past! I also collect Vintage cookbooks and Vintage ladies Magazines. I love the old persuasive advertisements and meticulous (though often misguided) advice experts, women from the 1920s to the 1970s were coaxed to follow some crazy advice! LOL Curious but absurd, and at times wildly funny period artifacts, outdated advice books and health pamphlets are fun to read and collect.

I also have a huge vintage Disney collection and a huge World War 2 collection that has many war bond posters.. I also love vintage clothing and accessories like head scarves, pins, sunglasses, makeup, I love to also read about Queen Elizabeth as I think she has had a fascinating life and has seen EVERYTHING! keeping up with the royal family and what they have been doing over in London.

This will take all day if I have to list them all LOL I have a HUGE dvd collection. I love movies based on true stories, Dramas, Action, Biographies, Sports themed, World War 2 history, anything with Gymnastics/Ice skating/Ballet/Horse themed and comedies. I am not a Sci-Fi/Fantasy or Horror fan. A few favorites are Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, The Queen, Steel Magnolias,Jason Bourne collection, Twilight, The Irishman, Casino, Goodfellows, Schindlers List, The Pianist, Out of ashes, Pearl Harbor, Secretariat, Seabiscuit, The Great Gatsby, J. Edgar, Moneyball, Curious case of Benjamin Button, The Recruit, Spy Game, GI Jane, Oceans 11, Nadia, Jig, Angela’s Ashes, Miracle, James Bond movies, Titanic, Devil wears prada, Stick it, Center stage, The prize winner of Defiance Ohio, Peggy sue got married, Classic Disney and Pixar movies, The help, Pleasantville, Divine secrets of the ya ya sisterhood, Rebel without a cause ( I LOVE James Dean)Turning point.. ok Ill stop or Ill be here all day!

I like old stuff and some new.. Sopranos, Six feet under, Land Girls, Mad Men, Cable girls, Father knows best, Gilmore Girls, Ladies of London, Downton Abbey, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland, Weeds, Criminal Minds, Oz, Friday Night Lights, Wish me luck, Bomb girls, The Donna Reed show, The Honeymooners, I love Lucy, Ozzie and Harriet, I married Joan, Leave it to Beaver, Bewitched, Mr. Ed, The Crown, Bar Rescue, Below Deck, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Blacklist, American Pickers,This is us, and all the old cartoons from the 1960-70s!!!

I have about 40 adult color books and I absolutely LOVE to color with good pens/pencils. My favorite themes are Anything Retro/Vintage/Pin up girls/Norman Rockwell/Christmas/Vintage Vegas/Vintage Circus/Fashions over the decades/Desserts/Candy/Ballet/Vintage Disney and Vintage travel. World Travel.

I love gardening and grow beautiful flowers and tasty treats. It is very relaxing to me! Gardenias/Orchids/Hydrangeas/Roses/Blueberries, Concord Grapes,Strawberries/Sunflowers/Gerber Daisies/Tulips and Hyacinths are a few things I grow (When the weather cooperates!).

I belong to several secret pal groups and have done many swaps. I love bath products, Candy, Scented lotions, scented candles, bubble baths, bath fizzies, linen spray and unique air fresheners. I also collect Christmas ornaments from places that I travel. I also collect Ladybugs and Bumblebee decorations for my front yard.
I also have Ducks and I have put up a lot of old vintage signs/advertisements at the front of their Duck house. I love Old Soda advertising and anything with Donald Duck. (And no I do not care if they are reproductions!)

I love old style (1950-1960s) cute headbands!! I also LOVE Red lipstain!! I go through it like crazy!!

I am a HUGE Carolina Hurricanes hockey fan! We are season ticket holders and we love going to the games, and all the events they hold for season ticket members. I also like receiving hats/tshirts/headbands/Stickers that are Carolina Hurricanes themed. I like spice/Cinnamon/fruit smells. I also love Vintage Christmas items and any kind of Christmas Ornaments/Decorations. I try to buy a Christmas Ornament from every country we visit.

As far as candy goes I LOVE milk chocolate and Marzipan!! I also love sour candy.

Please do not send me any Used, Tacky, Free, Old or tasteless things. I do not like the taste of licorice, Jelly beans, Tootsie Pops, hard candy, white chocolate and dark chocolate. I do not drink Coffee or Tea. Please no religious items of any kind, no free bible verse cards/tourist handouts you find at welcome centers, stuffed animals, or romance novels. Please do not send me things that smell like cigarette smoke or strong incense/perfume. I suffer from allergies and strong perfume/incense triggers horrible migraines that require medication and sometimes a trip to the emergency room.

Please no handmade postcards or any type of free items/free reward items/No kids/juvenile items/Teacher rewards/Dirty/cracked or things that should of been thrown out. I am sure you would not like them either. :-) Please no Harry Potter/Game of thrones/Lord of the rings/Zombie or fantasy themes. Please NO CATS.

I am not into Shabby Chic/Cats/Kawaii or country themed. I also do not like creepy looking or tomboy things. I am not a scrapbooker so please no craft/scrap supplies. I also do not have any children so children's items are of no interest or use to me.

I started swapping postcards in 2007. I have a huge collection and I love to swap from different countries. I only swap professional/store bought cards. I swap for Ice Skaters, Sports Stadiums, Pro Hockey Teams, Dancers,Ballerinas, Royal families, Palaces, F1 Race tracks, City views/map cards/Theme parks/Country flags/ Cartoons from your country. I prefer single view cards that have their identity on the front. My favorite postcard artists are Inge Look, Lou Paper, Fiona Hewitt and Tausendschoen.
