I always fancied the idea of a penpal, especially one across seas. One day, after roaming the net I came across this site [last year] and decided to give it a go. So far, my experience here has been wonderful! I've been introduced to an entire world of Kawaii I never knew existed. Not only that but I have been able to buy from online sites as where I live, I'm not too familiar with stationery shops nearby or ones that sell cheaply. Mainly what I see is Hello Kitty items. I live in Los Angeles by the way which you assume that there is tons of kawaii...well not nearby, lol.

Back to my original point, I have had a good time since joining collecting lovely pieces of stationery and stickers; thanks to the people on this site and the site itself, I now am the happy owner of a small kawaii collection ^3^

I was quite active on this up until this year where there have been changes on a personal level that needed my full attention. I recently moved twice in less than two months and sadly I lost my first pet ever in late March.....it was really painful and still hurts to this day as I had never experienced such.

Hopefully, I'll be more active now that we finally settle in a place that is quite peaceful. Post office is no longer a ten minute walk away [I miss that :/] and due to family health, visits to the post office are fewer.

ANIME Korean Dramas

Chobits is awesome. Gungrave and Deathnote are kewl as so is Ao ai exorcist.

Sailor Moon is the one that started it all for me though, lol. No little girl should grow up without it.

I enjoy mecha animes. Not too big on the animes that have little girls running around with stars covering their bodies as minimally possible. o.O

I enjoy Korean dramas as it never has a happy ending [maybe sometimes]. Great looking actors and cheery actresses with great soundtracks, lol. Yes, the plot is also very interesting to follow ^-^

Save me lollipop is an anime meant for a wayyyy younger crowd but it was cute and the theme song is catchy!

Embarrasing, but it seems that I must add new sections as when I try to add more in the established sections, my original info goes poof >_>

I do not know how to just yet add the cute gifs but I'll get to that. Makes the page look quite good to read :D

Kpop, Cpop and Jpop. Not only do I like PSY, [one song really] but I like other groups, some whose name I do not know (errmmm.......)

Big Bang, 2PM, Jay Park, 2NE1, Kim Woo Yee (?), Seung Gi Lee and many others.

I also happen to like oldies as in the Doo Wop era, Elvis [long live the King], The Beatles and classical music; i.e.- Mozart, Bach, Vert, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and others.

YES, my playlist is quite the mix.

I like some Spanish music, Calle 13, Juan Luis Guerra 44, and others.

Please, please do NOT send me of these items:

Humans [this applies only to kawaii items, lol] Real animals [this applies only to kawaii items] Fake people [kawaii items and in real life] Mistreated items [i.e.-torn, wrinkled, used, discolored, etc.] No one likes trash. Please do not send something that you would not accept yourself. Candy[real or on stickers, stationery] Teas Crafting items [i.e.- scraps of paper, ribbons, buttons, beads. You get the drift......I have no talent >_< and no use for it] No Sesame Street or some other odd shows that I really have no clue of. No teacher stuff as I am not a teacher. No scrapbooking items like pieces of paper or stickers [i.e.- Best Friends, I love you, Memory lane, Awesome, none at all please!]

No heavy smells, perfume as everyone has an individual preference/taste. I have yet to find mine.

Flakers or late swappers. For late swappers, if you contact me and let me know....I have no issue. As long as your package comes in nicely and according to the swap rules...I'm ok. Life happens and there is no reason to be mad if you will be late. As long as you let me know beforehand....it is ok. I am not a stickler....but I do follow rules.

No paper cutouts of animals or items that I'm supposed use for crafting.....I don't craft so I have no use for it. Sorry :(

No insects or macabre items. Just because you like it....does not mean I will. If in doubt, please contact me and talk it out.

^_^ Sadly, these are some things I do not prefer at all.

UPDATE: 7-8-13

My father was discharged today. Hopefully things will definitely improve. I will however lay low with swaps as to avoid any future delays. Thank you for those who supported me with words of encouragement. It is truly appreciated. ^^.

UPDATE: 7-7-13

My father was discharged on 7/4 and we thought things would slowly get better but today he had a seizure at home that lasted for more than ten minutes and we are back at the hospital. I pray that he gets better :/

Sorry as these sad events come at a time when I can't drop all the swaps

UPDATE: 7-1-13 My father's BP is seriously low so am in the hospital hoping for him to get better. When will this nightmare end???

Ok....so there's a mix up with my dad's info and I feel lost. Apparently doc is considering a pace maker but Im being told that there are no concerns being shown via the health exams......how am I supposed to feel about this???

UPDATE: 6-26-13

My father was cleared from cancer and other awful things. He will remain in the hospital for this week and the physician will have a specialist take a look at him just to make sure he is ok. I'm not sure what will be of the fact that he has liquid in his lungs....but it seems that the prospect is good.

MY FATHER WAS HOSPITALIZED THIS PAST FRIDAY. SADLY HIS HEALTH HAS WORSENED THIS MORNING. AM CURRENTLY WAITING TO HEAR FROM HIS DOCTOR.

I HAVE ABOUT HALF OF THE SWAPS IM PARTICIPATING IN READY TO BE MAILED OUT. HOWEVER, ONE WILL NOT MAKE THE DEADLINE. I HOPE TO MAIL THEM OUT SOON AND I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVIENCE. I'VE EMAILED MY PARTNER THAT WILL BE AFFECTED DIRECTLY. IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU WOULD LIKE AN EMAIL FROM ME PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Please do NOT send me any food or candy items unless you PM first and see if I'm ok....I'm kind of sketchy b/c you never know what might go wrong.

I'm probably open to chocolate or peanut butter, lol. Am curious about the special kinds of Kit-Kat Japan offers. Even from Germany would be pretty interesting. ^^ So please PM. I'm not trying to be mean. ><

I do NOT like perfumes or make-up to be sent as I'm allergic to certain smells and what not. I do not use make-up at all. I have natural beauty ;)

I am hooked on one perfume which is Sunrise (Avon used to sell it) and I have not seen it for years and years.

I do not care for tea or coffee items......really don't drink either one.
