Hi ! My name is Alaniss and I am new to this website as of January 2021.

I’m a 27 year-old Native American/indigenous woman from Canada. I speak Innu, French, English and some Spanish/Korean/Japanese.

My interests include: books (fiction), travels, photography (digital and 35mm film), manga, video games (Nintendo/PlayStation), languages, Korean r&b/indie, etc.

I mostly listen to Korean music. I have been a hardcore K-pop fan between 2008 to 2012 and now mostly listen to K-r&b/indie and hiphop (although I still listen to some k-pop obviously haha).

To give you an idea, my favourite Korean singers are: IU, Lee Hi, Crush, Hyukoh, Colde/Offonoff, Jannabi, Jukjae, Se so neon, Lee Moon Sae.

As for non-Korean singers, I generally listen to old r&b and pop from the 90s and early 2000s. But, right now, I really enjoy Joji’s music.

And of course, songs and singers from my nation (innu).

Ghibli movies -

I mostly read fiction books in the contemporary genre, but I also want to read more classics (especially British and French classics).

My favourite authors at the moment are Haruki Murakami and Fredrik Backman :)

Mostly K-dramas.

My favourites are: Reply series (especially 1988), Another Oh Hae Young, My Mister, and many more.
