I'm in my early 30s and am beginning to enjoy a night in more than a night out, a hot chocolate more than a vodka, a slow dance more than clubbing, a hand made item more than what's big in the style magazines... all in all I'm growing into my skin and my life and loving every minute of it. I also became a mum in September 2010 so am stressed out, constantly tired and loving my gorgeous baby son!

I'm madly in love with my husband Matt who I married in March and bought a beautiful old house with a few weeks later. It's quite the project and we hope to have it completed by Xmas and full of wonderful handcrafted items. So, all our time and money is being ploughed into our new home.

Not into horror or thrillers or actions films, give me stuff like Stealing Beauty, High Fidelity, Flash Gordon, Before Sunrise/Before Sunset, Singles, Say Anything..

I like sewing, painting, sketching, tapestry, jewellery making, and generally dabbling with all crafts to try and turn my house into a home.

Long walks on the beach, even longer talks with Matt, vintage fabrics, the smell of fresh baking, thrift store finds, interior style magazines, blogs and finding supplies I forgot I had.

I love chocolate (pref milk, mint or orange varieties), gummy sweets like haribo, fudge, fruit cremes, caramel centres. Flavour-wise I like: strawberry, orange, cola, apple, pineapple, raspberry. I don't like: nuts, coffee, bubblegum, fizzy/sour...you get the idea :)
