I'm a 35 years old, happily married, with two very energetic toddlers. I have a variety of interests and some of my favorite things are reading, writing, traveling, learning about other cultures and countries, painting, attempting anything crafty, you get the gist. : )

I love to drink hot teas, coffee, hot chocolate, and I'm not allergic to anything or picky with what I eat. I once even ate a cricket while in Mexico. It wasn't bad, but I probably won't do it again. When in Rome, right?

I love nature, but I suck at gardening. : ( I'm still learning and trying though! I'm happiest when I'm in the mountains or at the beach.

Where do I start? I'm pretty open with music and listen to anything. My current playlist has the new Nine Inch Nails, Goldfrapp, Travis, She and Him, Mazzy Star, and Arcade Fire.

My all time favorite band is U2.

I love Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist. It's so inspiring and beautiful, but simple. I always have a pile of books on my nightstand that I'm reading - at this time it's Silver Linings Playbook, Madaddam, And the Mountains Echoed, and the Jane Austen Book Club. Geez, I love books. I'm a total library lover!

Any and every Jane Austen inspired movie, 80's teen movies especially Sixteen Candles, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Harry Potter of course. Unfortunately, I don't get a lot of time to watch as many movies as I'd like.

Breaking Bad, New Girl, Downton Abbey, Parenthood, Game of Thrones, Mad Men. I'm not fully caught up on these shows, but they are the ones I enjoy watching.
