My name is Leora, and I am an elementary school teacher. I have been teaching for about 3 years, and feeling it, but I love my job and I love what I do. I have a job I can feel rewarded in when I come home.

I have been married for going on 4 years. My husband and I do not currently have kids, but we are excited to have a large family in the future.

I am a Christian.

I have traveled a decent amount for my short years here on Earth, and hope to start traveling again soon. So far I have been to: South Korea, Israel, France, D.R., Jamaica, Caman Islands, Mexico, Canada, and Japan.

I love to sew, crochet, and read. I am a novice sewer, but have picked up on it fairly quickly. I am using my mum's old sewing machine and have made a few dresses, kimonos, and some costumes for our school play.

I love to read. I read on average 6 books a month, which is quite a feat with my job!

I have an awesome dog named Hedy, she is basically my spirit animal. We got her two years ago, and we go everywhere except my job together. The people at some of our normal haunts know her and have treats for her when we pull up!

I enjoy sitting outside and soaking in the sunshine. I love to hike and have done a bit of overnight backpacking.

-The Office: I have seen this series through 4 times as of now and yes I will def be starting it over again. We all know a Michael Scott and Dwight. Don't deny it.

-Parks and Rec: I am the work equivalent of Leslie Knope for education. My co-workers make fun of me for it and I take it as a compliment!

-Frasier: An oldie but goodie. I just enjoy the humor. My husband is a bit like Niles...

-Victoria (PBS): I like the history, cinematography, and acting

-The Crown: Took me a few episodes but I have to admit I got addicted.

-Star Trek... (yeah, I will own it)

Currently Reading: Little Fires Everywhere

I get books every month from the Book of the Month Club and love it! It is a great way to get books from new authors, and genres I would not normally go for. I also read a lot of children and young adult literature for my job.
