I'm an avid bead weaver, artist, writer, and musician. I play classical music and old time music. I've written 4 books and numerous e-books. Creativity is a must for me.

Currently I'm doing a lot of doodling...you can call it zentangle if you want but hey, a lot of us were decorating school papers with it (and getting into trouble for it ) a hundred years ago. OK maybe not quite 100...

I work a lot in oil paints, primarily birds/realistic nature scenes. Am doing my first art journal to explore new mediums. I also do digital scrap booking and enjoy card making.

I'm a girly girl. I like frills, beads on my sandals, and pink. I wear a feather in my (red) hair and you almost never see me without earrings, tho makeup is optional. I love birds, nature, holidays, and COLOR. I don't like skulls, things that remind me of the occult, tarot cards, etc.

I'm a happily married woman (3 years) and between us we have 3 dogs, 2 cats and over 200 fish. All provide plenty of inspiration for my art!

I'm a Christian and also a musician. My listening is varied, only limited by these: (1) it can't be offensive and (2) it has to be good musically.

So....... contemporary Christian, anything classical esp Bach and Mozart, old hymns done instrumentally, old time but not bluegrass, light jazz...... anything I can sing or hum along to usually counts. :) I love oldies. My husband always asks how I know the words to the 60s tunes (as I grew up in the 70s). I have no idea - I just do.

Before you send that swap.....I'm a Christian. I love Jesus and spend every day working hard to stay exactly where I should be. (didn't say I do it -- but I try). Please don't send me anything with offensive themes such as: vulgarity, evil, devils, idols, wiccan, pagan, anti-Christ.... you get the picture. If you aren't sure, just ask me. :) I'm not hard to get along with.....I just try to guard my heart in the right way. THANK YOU!!!!

My "favorites" change constantly, so I may read this a year from now and say...really??? Right now I weave a lot with seed beads, free form style pieces that I mix with gemstones. I've also gotten really crazy with making LOTS of glass tile pendants. I don't have a lot of stamps but I'm enjoying stamping and using my cricut to create cards. I am loving ATCs and working in new ways.. Watercolors or acrylic with india ink drawings are a favorite method...never felt that I was good at collage but I'm doing it. I have a lot to learn in this area! Keeping an art journal to track my progress in collage work. I appreciate those of you who will trade with a newbie!
