I am 45 and have been a certified nursing assistant for approximately 15 years. I have two adult children. I love to read, sew, garden, bake, penpalling, and swapping.

I don't own a television, but, I do watch a little TV off the internet. I like Survivor, Big Brother, American Idol, The Hills, The Amazing Race, The Bachelor, and The Bachelorette.

I have been in three apron swaps. But, not on Swap-Bot. I am known to quilt. I also have made my own scrub tops. Basically, anything I can make with a sewing machine.

I generally like all kinds of music, but, I prefer to listen to "praise and worship" music or Cher. I know... two ends of the spectrum.

But, currently, I have been listening to the smooth sound of Jack Johnson. His songs, "If I had eyes," and " Do You Remember," are the BEST!! I LOVE him.

I love the movies: Titanic, Sound of Music, Wizard of Oz, and The Color Purple.

I have two small dogs. The first one is a schnauzer/rat terrier mix named Maggie. She is 8 years old. The second one is a purebred LLasa Apso named Ali, and she is 1 1/2 years old. I also have a cockatiel named Eddy. He talks and whistles.

I like to collect postcards that have the state map on them (sent in an envelope), reuseable shopping bags, handmade Christmas ornaments, books by Wanda Brunstetter, and Amish things.

I like Jodi Picoult, Beverly Lewis, Kim Vogel Sawyer, and Wanda Brunstetter.

My signature color is dark purple. But, I also like cranbery, hunter green, fire-engine red, and orange.
