I'm in my middle 60's, secretary at a large, urban hospital. Commuter, train/shuttle bus. Live alone except for two rescue cats, Max (Blue Point Siamese) and Katydid (Maine Coon and whatever came through the yard that night) in an old Victorian house now apartments. Lots of yard, overlooking river, just down from a marina, in small New England town where the post office/library people know everyone. Love books, knitting, animals (especially cats). I like most colors: yellow, most greens, pink, blue, violet, purple, Least favorite colors would be brown, black, red, and orange. Use mostly acrylic yarns. Collect knitting needles, especially vintage ones.

Enjoy plants and flowers, especially flowers. Have bed of yellow climbing roses I planted several years ago,thrilled to see come back again each year.

Enjoy most kinds except rap and loud, metallic stuff. Have a large collection of classical cd's and listen to radio - old stuff from 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's.

I really enjoy classics and mysteries, especially English cozies. Have whole set of Agatha Christie hard cover books. Compulsive reader, back of boxes, newspapers over shoulder of fellow commuters. Love to read, collect cookbooks. Especially ones that go beyond just the recipe.

Like older movies, vintage stuff, classics and comedies. No excessive blood and guts type movies.

Watch PBS, Mystery Theater, old movies. Especially older period pieces. Cooking shows, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune. Liked the old Martha Stewart shows from Turkey Hill days. Gardening shows.

Knitting. I love to knit! This year I fulfilled a long time wish - created a whole stash of yarn. Stocked up on sale items -- filled a whole bookcase from ceiling to floor with yarn. Enjoy embroidery, crocheting. Made Xmas ornaments one year which was fun.
