Hello, I’m new 😁 I have never done anything like this So I’m just finding my feet. I am sure as I learn I will be able to update my profile accordingly.

I am in my 40’s, I have lived in the same state all my life and love the Lord. I have two fur babies. 🐈 I love art, nature, reading, road trips, crafts, scrapbooking, collecting coins and unique money, movies, TV, animals, love to shop at thrift stores, and I’m sure I’ll think of more later 🙂. I have recently discovered a love of plants and their different uses. I want to make my own field guide journal for the local flora. ☘️🌲🌻🍁.

I am open to long term pen pals. I like getting to know new people. There have been swaps where I would have liked to reply however wasn’t sure if the other person was interested in an ongoing pen pal. With me, if you want to reply, Go Ahead! I would love to hear back! I enjoy conversations in letters.

In my letters, While I may talk about my beliefs I do not try to force them upon anyone. I would appreciate the same courtesy from any pen pal. I tend to stay away from controversial topics, however, as long as everyone stays civil, I will join in on a conversation. I enjoy talking to people who are nice, kind, and positive. I try to be the same. If I find myself in a negative frame of mind I will not write or join in on swaps.

I really like most kinds of music. I like listening to new sounds. Contemporary Christian is my favorite. I’m a fan of Third Day, Lauren Daigle, For King and Country, Toby Mac, and pretty much anyone else played on K-Love! I also love, Big band, Jazz, and Classical music.

I have gone to some concerts but I’m not a huge fan of going. I did go to one for Distant Worlds orchestra music from Final Fantasy, that was fun 😁.

I love fantasy, Christian fiction, cozy mysteries, young adult books, classics. Some of my all time favorites are: WaterShip Down, Fable Haven, Harry Potter, and Diamond of the Rockies Series by Kristen Heitzmann.

I’m really into knitting and crocheting. There is a series of cozy mysteries written by Maggie Sefton that centers around a yarn shop, I got into. Then she came to our library for a talk and book signing. I enjoyed that and I got a book signed!

I mostly watch Syfy and fantasy, however, I do love a good documentary. Some of my favorites are:

Scrapbooking although I haven’t done it a while. Love Photography! 📸 I enjoy painting and drawing. 🎨 There is just something relaxing in it for me. I like knitting but I’m impatient so I will use choose a crochet project instead. 🧶

My favorite colors are blues, and teals. But really I love color, with only a few exceptions. I’m not crazy about neon or the color yellow.

I love dragons 🐉 and mythical creatures, puffins, sloths🦥, cats 😸, frogs🐸, turtles🐢 and octopus 🐙.

I love different themes from bright and bold colors to soft and shabby chic.
