My name is Christine and I have been introduced to this site thanks to a very special friend that I am blessed to have in my life. She knows who she is...😘

I have a fabulous family with husband and 2 adult sons, who are everything to me and we have recently expanded with a new daughter-in-law.

We absolutely love living in Brisbane, Australia, after having many years moving around our beautiful country due to my husband being in the Defence Force. This also allowed us to see many many parts of Australia and we feel proud to say we have enjoyed and experienced so much of it.

My husband and I also love to travel internationally when we can and have been extremely lucky to have been able to see many different countries. All of them have been fantastic experiences and we have appreciatiated each one with its unique culture, cuisine and geography. We look forward to doing more travel and would especially love to cruise to Alaska, and visit Japan and China.

Our family have always loved animals and enjoy getting to know them with their individual personalities and total genuineness. We have had many pets over the years, all varieties, shapes and sizes. 🐶 🐱 🐦🐭 🐠 However at the moment we only have an awesome little Lovebird named "Houdini".

My husband and I are currently learning to dance (ballroom and Latin) and although we aren't very good, we have many, many laughs and enjoy the company of other dancers.

Christmas is my favourite season. I love to hunt through shops or create special gifts for the people I love, and take great pleasure in watching their reactions when they open them. We have about 8 Christmas trees that are scattered around the house during the season. I have a lovely collection of decorations that I have much pride in displaying. My favorites of these are my wooden nutcracker characters.

I can't really say that I have a favorite type of music...however, I know that I don't like hip hop, heavy metal or any 'head banging' styles. I've always loved the music from ABBA, but will listen to anything from the 70's, 80's and beyond that isn't listed above.🎼🎶

I have loved a wide variety of crafts. I have always sewed and crocheted, and have tried my hand at wool, silk ribbon and floss embroidery, smocking, quilting, patchwork, paper crafts and card making, folk art, teddy bear making, tatting, knitting and timber crafts.

I love making and swapping ATC's and am slowly learning to incorporate new techniques into them.

..pretty much everything except horror and some sci-fi. I love a good comedy action/adventure or chick-flick! As long as I can totally relax and really understand the characters, I'm happy!

I have always been a very 'girly girl' and still am. I adore lace, bling, sparkles, vintage designs and generally anything pretty! I love all colours, but in particular, blues, purples, pinks. I also love the distressed look in artworks.

Food is a weakness! I probably like Thai food the most....at the moment. 😉and I love all fruit! 🍎🍇🍑🍐🍌🍓 I am a coffee drinker, but of late have turned to green and herbal teas, I just adore the amazing aromas.

I have a weakness for fashion, especially shoes 👠!! All types! Oh, and jewellery! 💍The dainty and blingy!

I love angels, fairies and butterflies!!!!

I also love tea cup and saucer sets and started collecting them as a child.

I collect tourist magnets and would love to have many international ones (flags, maps, special buildings, famous landmarks etc....) I am open to international swaps with tourist magnets. , I love the smells of fresh coffee, strawberries, vanilla, gardenia, lavender, and roses, they remind me of special times, people and places!

Being a Christian I always try to live 'the Golden Rule'. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Honesty and loyalty are two of the qualities I look for in my friends, and I therefore live this outwardly. I always do my utmost to do what is expected of me and keep my promises. This will include my commitment to complete swaps to their specified requirements or above.

I cannot stand cruelty to anything or anyone. I particularly dislike people who are impatient and intolerant or unaccepting towards others.

I don't particularly like wizardry and am not into anything involving violence, vampires, witchcraft, zombies etc. I do not believe in Halloween.

I love to curl up with a novel 📖 especially on a rainy day. I enjoy romance, adventure and historical reads as well as bio's. Lately, I have become interested in mysteries and am enjoying the suspense until the ending. Monica McInerny and Nora Roberts are two of my favourite authors.

I put much time as well as my heart into my work, and would never send anything that I'm am not happy with. I will ALWAYS send by the due date or earlier, unless there is some upheaval in my life. If this happens, I will send you a message and hope for your patience and understanding.

I photograph my swaps so if I get you as a partner more than once, I will try to make sure I do not send the same extras.

My family and I do not smoke, so you will never receive anything with traces of smokey smells from me.
