Hi all:

I participated a few years ago but then life happened and I wasn't able to be active. I am excited to get back into it. I'm still getting all my swapping "supplies" together so forgive me if my swap aren't decorated or have little gifts inside. I love seeing all the fun things everyone does and sends. Thank you.

I have a bio-daughter and a step-daughter, both grown. I have 4 grandchildren that all live in Las Vegas. I miss seeing them.

I love to read-pretty much anything. Some favorite genres are murder mystery, real crime stories, action/spy, and SyFy.

I have to admit I'm a TV-aholic. So many shows to watch. Some recent binges have been Animal Kingdom and Hanna.

My music tastes are all over the place. I love Pink; her music and her activism. How she loves her children so much. I'm also a fan of Switchfoot, I've been listening to them since they were playing at their father's church in San Diego. Love music from the 70's. I like a variety of genres; rock, alternative, pop, classic rock, some classical, jazz and rap.

I've been watching videos on different dollar store crafts and, honestly, there are some really cute ones out there. Like a tree made out of a dollar store mop head. I recently made some coasters out of white ceramic tiles that I painted with colored chalkboard paint. Chalk on someone's name and they will know it's their drink

I want to learn to knit and crochet; I'm still practicing before I attempt to actually make anything. I love to do embroidery and needlepoint. My mother was a whiz at embroidery and needlepoint. I always aspire to make her proud. I sew, but don't currently have sewing machine so my sewing hasn't taken place much.

My favorite color is: any shade of purple. I have, however, found myself buying lots of green, a kind of sage green. Oh, and teal.

Acrylic paint pouring is very interesting to me. I'm amazed at how the pictures turn out. I've been seeing the technique used in so many different and creative ways. This is definitely on my list of crafts to do.

Soooo many movies-LOL.

The Sound of Music, because it reminds me of my Dad. The Wizard of Oz, because it reminds me of my Mom. Monty Python, because it reminds me of my brother. Girl, Interrupted, because my daughter knows every line by heart. Rocky Horror Picture Show, because...well, just because. :0) All the Harry Potter movies. All the Lord of the Ring movies.
