I have always been artistically inclined in one way or another from a very young age, when I would sequester myself away to read or draw instead of watching TV. For a short amount of time I attempted to build an income off of it, but as it did not pan out I traded art for artistry and became a hair stylist.

I still get to express myself, connect with others and feel that sense of accomplishment as someone walks away with my "art". Crafting, drawing, and creating are now my way to unwind after a long day or a long week.

I live in a small historic city in Virginia, mostly known for being the birth place of one our US Presidents. I was born about seven or so miles away on a small pig farm out in the country. There I fell in love with nature, animals, and rustic charm.

I have a love for nature and all things rustic and from a time past. Vintage items and natural objects and art or pieces based around them draw and comfort me. Think of the style from the Aunts home in the film adaptation of Alice Hoffman's Practical Magic, and you've nailed down my style and aesthetic including some of the more darker elements as well.
