Hi! My name is Bonnie, I am 48 yrs YOUNG and I like a VERY eclectic mix of things. UPDATE AUGUST 2011: My MS has been really giving me more trouble than usual the last month or so. My Swaps have been shipping late. ALL SWAPS WILL BE SENT!! I can't emphasize this enough! I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT FLAKE! I have notified my partners & been blessed with the most understanding & kind Swappers! Not only the one's I send to,but the Swappers who have sent to me! In the short time I've been a member of the SB Family, stranger's have reached out with kind words, the most thoughtful and creative Swaps! The reason I joined was to be on the Giving end, and I am trying! So far most of my Swaps have been opened while in bed. The kindness received in each of those small packages is better than any medicine in my drs arsenal. My wish is to be that to my partners as well. I am married, have a Daughter, who has given me 3 very handsome grandsons! 13,11,and 4. My baby, LOL is my son, who is 30, he & his wife gave me the best gift ever, my 1st Granddaughter who is now 6yrs7 mos.old. THEN this St.Patrick's Day: they did it again! Allison joined our family every inch as beautiful as her big sister! So, 5 grandbabies! Andrew is the oldest & lives w/ us. We have 2 awesome Golden Retrievers Scooter & Bella d'Oro. We also have a Russian Blue cat, DaVinci. After we adopted DaVinci, I discovered I am very allergic to him! The dog hair bothers me, but the cat dander & fur OH MY! So, my Swap Partners should let me know if any fabric/fiber item could have been from a home w/ a cat! Then I will not hug it CLOSE! ;) I had a wonderful career in Corporate Sales...then,me, one of those odd one of a kind people, got sideswiped by my Fibromyalgia...my pain was uncontrollable, and my medical team & I faced the facts that I would no longer be able to work. That was in 2003. I was then diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis on 12/20/04, my 13th wedding anniversary! I've tried to maintain a positive attitude thru all of the challenges. The last 6mos. Negativity has been putting up an ugly fight. I am fighting it and hope that Swap Bot will be a good way to meet new people, and maybe be able to send hope & happiness to someone. That is often the best cure for self pity ailment...to step outside of yourself and give to someone....The Gift is in the GIVING! There is more...but, I am sleepy. I WILL get this profile done!

I love an eclectic mix of music. From Classical to Hard Rock, New Age. I am not a fan of country music, new or old. There maybe a rare exception. My absolute favorites include Fleetwood Mac, Heart, the woman rockers: Ethridge her contemporaries.60's - now pop/rock. Then Jazz, the greats Miles Davis, Miss Ella Fitzgerald, Louie Armstrong, Billie Holiday, this list is endless I am a big Sinatra fan. So, as you can see...Eclectic to say the least.

The Red Tent, Pope Joan, my # 1 favorite of all time: To Kill a Mockingbird. Wynken Blynken, and Nod. Which is actually an old children's poem. Before MS smacked my life I read about 3-5 books a week and was a 'founding' member of a book club. I have a heard time remembering characters, so my more recent likes are non-fiction and about spirituality, crystals, Angels,vintage jewelry, jewelry design, and the like.

Jewelry Making, if I ever get that extra room cleaned out and set up...watch out world! I crochet, taught myself to knit? Practice makes perfect! I also enjoy doing mosaics. It is actually what started it all! Prior to becoming physically challenged I did not do anything creative. My creative outlet was my job, problem solving for clients. In my opinion, I think 'crafts' should all be called Artistic Endeavors! When I make things, I try to use the highest quality I can afford (or that I can't, but I Buy anyway!) LOL

Dust! :P Beads, yarn (would love to try premium yarn!) Found objects for jewelry & mosaics, shoes! Purses! New York Yankee ANYTHING! New York City/state anything. Italian wall art plaques, anything really that pictures Italy or is in Italian. Would absolutely LOVE a Swap partner from Italy!

This is a tough for me, as it seems selfish to ask for things. I love crystals the kind from the earth! Vintage Stamps from Italy Any Vintage Beads NY Yankee anything Almost forgot this! I am looking for 3 Sand Dollars, from either coast! Directly from the the SAND. I have 3 that I collected with my children when we lived in Seaside Oregon. I want to make a shadow box! I am not looking for the fake or bleached kind, and I am willing to do a private swap.

I have been studying Numeroloy, Healing use of Crystals, Italian, and spirituality. Eclectic to say the least! When given the challenge of an incurable,untreatable chronic disease, I started to really rethink where my energy was focused.
