Please when sending swaps, send some nice quality items, kiddie items from the dollar tree or old items are not my favorite thing.I look forward to receiving something unique that I have never seen before!!
I now have two babies age 6 and 0, I hope to stay mildly active on swap bot, but truth be told I am the worst at responding to messages in a timely manner, but I do always eventually respond! I am going to stick to mostly PC swaps and the occasional package or two! I am hoping to do some small swaps here and there in 2024!
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I would like to go to all 50 states! So far I have just been to: Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Arizona I don't count airports or crossing over as visiting the state. Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and Bahamas

APDG ~ Hobbit Day
I started from the movies, I was a teenager, and I was in love with Frodo
Then I started to read The Hobbits, and I truly found it awesome. I liked the adventure feeling!
I started wanting to live in those tiny house:
And this is my favourite quote:
“Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, We'll wander back and home to bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade!â€
APDG ~ Hobbit Day
It was not until I was in college that I decided to read the Lord of the Rings series and The Hobbit. I watched the movies while reading the trilogy. I did enjoy reading the books more than I thought and still trying to read other books Tolkien wrote.
APDG ~ Hobbit Day
I was first introduced to The Hobbit when I was in my early 20s in book form. And my imagination was immediately captured! I went on to read the Lord of the Rings with great excitement - five different times in all. And I can't even begin to say how many times I've seen the movies. Rivendell still remains one of my favorite places of all time. (I just know that it exists somewhere!)
Tolkien's drawing of Rivendell, an Elven outpost in Middle-earth:
Smaug the Dragon ("a most specially greedy, strong and wicked worm") to Bilbo, The Hobbit:
JRR Tolkien, author of Lord of the Rings, at Oxford:
Knock, knock!
