D

For this swap, we will be going through the alphabet to create a series of different cartoon character ATCs. You will send 1 ATC to 1 partner. You can draw ANY* TV cartoon character thats name starts with the letter D. It can be anything from children's shows like Dora The Explorer, to commercial cartoons like Tony the Tiger, to adult cartoons like the Simpsons or South Park.

Please make your card a piece of art. no cutting and pasting pictures, no sticker slapping. Try to draw/paint the character.

*Please no manga or anime cartoons - there are separate swaps for those being help by other members. Also, this is not a movie swap, it is for animated TV show or commercial characters only. So that means you cannot draw Snow White or Nemo. If you are interested in those, I will also be hosting a Disney character A-Z atc series swap in the near future so keep an eye out for that!

Also, the TV show does not have to be on the air anymore. It can be an old show, or brand new. It's up to you.

Please make sure the CHARACTER's name starts with the current letter, not just the TV show title!

If you have any questions, please PM me

Have fun!

This is my first swap. :) Yay, I'm excited!

As this is my first swap, I'm not entirely sure how this works. Do you choose a partner for us?

thanks :)

I just drew out my cartoon character, does it have to be full body or can it be just headshot of character? Also, if I've drawn the whole card by hand can I use a few small stickers to embellish it more?

yay! I'm so glad you chose my swap as your first!!

@laurendoodler - how it works is that tonight at midnight (the last day to sign up is today), a button becomes available to me that says "assign partners" and all I do is click that and then swap-bot randomly assigns partners. Once partners are assigned, you can come to this page, and in the top right corner of the page there will be a button that says "see partners you send to" or something along those lines and it will give you the address of your partner. The person you send to will not necessarily be the person who sends to you though! It's all random! Also, if you do not receive a card from your partner, PLEASE let me know so I can see what the problem is, and I will be more than happy to angel! (which means I will send you an ATC since you did not receive one)

@shortmommy23 - I know I just answered this in your PM, but in case others were wondering (and thanks for asking! I definitely didn't make this clear in the instructions!) - embellishments and stickers are more than welcome on your ATC! however, JUST stickers or embellishments are USUALLY not considered art. There are, of course, exceptions. Just be creative with this and do your best! While just stickers will never be real "art", manipulating embellishments on your card (maybe glueing tiny beads on to look like the character) can very well be considered art! Thanks again for asking!

I got my Girlfriends Art. I'm fine with that. But i was wondering if there is a way to prevent it in the future. @laurendoodler is a good Artist i just want other peoples art.
