My Favorite Author

For this swap, you will write down on a nice notecard or piece of stationary who your favorite author is, why, and some of their best books (in your opinion). Tell your partner a little bit about the author (any background, but not necessary) you want to share. Why is this author one of your favorites? Do you read similar authors? What is your favorite book written by them and why?

This swap is to inform your partner about authors. Please try and stay away from the huge name authors like John Grisham, James Patterson, Dan Brown, etc. I mean its fine if you want to choose them as your favorite, but they are household names by now.

No recent unexplained 1's or 3's (I got one recently and I'm still fuming!) but as long as you are in good standing with the group and with Swap-Bot, you are free to join. No partial suspensions please, and I will be checking profiles before assigning partners.
