Description:

Did you receive any items in your swaps that were not really something you could use? Do you have supplies for a project you never got around to starting? Did you receive a nice gift that was not your taste? Do you purchase greeting cards in the multipack, and don’t want to send the same ones again? Here is your chance to find a new home for all of these things!

This swap is for all of us who have that drawer full (or more) of useful stuff we’re not using. Do you tend to hold on to things for a long time just because they might come in handy someday? Now you and I both know the chances are really quite low that you’re really going to do anything with most of those items. So why not pass them along to someone else who may be able to enjoy them?

Swap Requirements: Send at least ten “useful” items to your partner. You must at minimum fill a box equivalent in size to a small Flat Rate Priority Mail box, but you can send a larger box if you like. (Priority Mail is not a requirement, you may send via the least expensive method if you prefer.) Tiny items such as buttons, candies, or stickers would not count as one item, but a collection of such items would. Send only brand new items or items in useable or collectable/vintage condition. Don’t send “trash”, things past their expiration dates, used items you would not want to reuse, or broken items. Please don’t send items your swap partner specifically states in their profile that they do not want to receive.

Optional: Please try to match your partner’s profile if you can. This way, maybe your items can finally become truly useful.

Make sure you have a well-filled out profile in case your swap partner might have things to send that you would enjoy. This is a sender’s choice swap, so rate based on whether the swap you receive meets the requirements even if you don’t love everything you receive.

You must have completed at least ten package type swaps and have at least a 4.8 rating to join this swap.

Recommended items for this swap could include (but are not limited to): Household items; Tea, coffee, drink packets; Craft supplies; Stationery and cards; Jewelry; DVDs, CDs, books; Office supplies; Organizational items (divided boxes, zipper pouches, etc); Travel helpers; Scarves, hair accessories, etc.; holiday items; soaps, bath fizzies, lotions, etc.; beauty products (new only, of course); gift bags or tags; party supplies; items that your swap partner likes or collects
