Description: | |
This will be run as a series of atc swaps every few weeks in order to collect an entire alphabet of atc's. The theme is based on Edward Gorey's Alphabet from his book "The Gashlycrumb Tiniesâ€. It is a morbid little book about dead children. You can see the entire alphabet here: http://www.fuddytv.com/blog/books/edward-gorey-and-his-alphabet/ This swap is based on I: I is for Ida who drowned in a lake. You should have the words of the poem on your atc so that when our collections are finished they can be read as a set. So for this one you will have the words: I is for Ida who drowned in a lake. Please do not print Edward Goreys illustrations out and stick them on card. This is your own interpretation on the words of the poem and it does not have to follow the aesthetic of Goreys illustrations. Hand drawing, Collage, You can use any medium but make it really special. Also the atc must not have just the words of the poem on a background, it must have some kind of image depicting the event. So the words can be tiny because the artwork is the most important part. 1 Atc for 1 partner. If you want to collect the entire alphabet you need to sign up to each individual swap, which I will list as the swap progresses. This also means that you can make your atc's in advance if you want. I will dropped anyone who has recent 1's and unexplained 3's and you must have completed at least 5 atc swaps prior to this. It is just too disappointing to not receive a swap. If anyone has any questions please let me know. Have fun! PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF SOMEONE FLAKES ON YOU! I WILL BAN FLAKERS FROM ALL OF MY FUTURE SWAPS. |
