What To do: You will make 3 Inchies for each of your 2 partners, where yellow is the dominant, or only color. Make your Inchies of a sturdy material like, cardstock. Senders Choice as to the theme. Feel free to use stickers, brads, glitter, or other embellishments...as long as it's creative and nice!!!

Please Read: Please use a paper cutter, or a punch for the Inchies! No sloppy cutting. Please DO NOT affix your Inchies to a card or background! Send them loose...but safe! It's up to you if you want to write anything on the backs!

Requirements to join: No recent 1's or 3's within the past 3 months. Contact me before joining if you do have a recent negative rateing and I'll look into it. You must have logged onto Swap-bot within the past 5 days of when I assign partners for this swap!

Have fun.....and Happy Swapping:-)

P.S. Inchies are tiny 1x1 inch pieces of art!

Do you realize this swap has already been set up by @deLux here

angkb 07/19/2011 #

And even the green was is set up here

Laynie 07/19/2011 #

Yes @angkb ..I realize all of that. I was going to join her swap at first, but realized my Inchies don't meet her requirements, so I'm making some of my own. I'll change it up a bit...to make it less confusing:-)

Laynie, thanks for doing a swap for those of us who are less than perfect.

Laynie 08/13/2011 #

No problem @user3775 , I just think that ART is anything you make that you'er proud of, and not just handrawing/painting and such.

Hi, Laynie - I meant less than perfect in our swapbot ratings. I will be making extra sets of inchies so I can send you a set also, if you would like to do some one-on-one swaps. That way we can both get our ratings up. Since I had you as a partner this time, maybe someone else will swap with me. I love the way my inchies turned out.

And to all, I have an extra set of yellow inchies. If anyone would like to do a one-on-one swap, please email me.

After I wrote that, I looked at your profile...and then I realized what you meant lol:-) It's all good though. You seem to be trying really hard, and I think that's great!!!

...but I really do mean what I said about ART...:-)

Thanks Laynie, YOu are really sweet. I know you are going to love the inchies I am sending. I am glad I got you as a partner. Hmmm, Now when is two weeks after the swap date.... LOL. They are ready to mail monday. Post office was already closed Saturday.

And I do agree with what you said about art. I have been making altered books for years, and was just going through my ATC collection. Just the shear volume of my work is amazing. I also love doing zentangles. Way back at the dawn of time I was a member of the Embroider's Guild of America, and love doing needlework. I taught myself to sew when in college and made my sister's wedding dress. And i love to crochet. But my REAL art is my piano playing. I love to perform so much.

And I have probably rambled on long enough. :)
