Do they have to be 30 different ones?

Do they all have to be from our own country?

Latte 11/30/2007 #

Today, I took out my album to count for 30s =.=

I would also wanna know whether we need to send 30 different stamps or could be 2 of one-kind =)

My husband collects stamps so I am doing this swap for him. I get all his extras so I have plenty to share. I would be great if I get some he would like to add to his collection.

To my partner I dont mind double ups as I use them in my craft work

kacka 11/30/2007 #

Do they need to be removed from paper or still be on paper?

CelestialFreak 11/30/2007 #

I don't mind some doubles, but I do hope for a good variety. If I get duplicates, or if it's something I already have I'll just either use it for my crafts or turn it around in another swap. No big deal with me. I just hope I'll get some different ones to expand my collection.

BTW, does anyone know a good place online to buy stamp collecting albums? Please PM or comment me.

CelestialFreak 11/30/2007 #

To kacka, My preference is that the paper stay on, but I know its different for different collectors. I prefer to include the post offices cancel ink stamp on the postage stamp.

To answer everyones questions:
- They don't have to be 30 different ones, there can be two of the same stamp but please no more than two unless your partner agrees to it with you.

  • They can be from any country you like but perhaps try not to send say someone stamps they could get in their own country? If you have to it is ok too though.

  • On or off paper. It does not matter as long as they are still good quality.

Hope all this helps! Nice to see a lot of interest!

To my future partners:

  • I'll be sending some of the stamps in doubles (but not all), so that you can exchange them with your friends =)

  • I would love to receive some stamps in double too, as i can reswap them with my friends ^^

  • majority of the stamps that I'll send are from my country ^^ I think maybe less people will have Malaysia's stamps =)

  • my stamps are off papers, as i kept them in an album =)

Hope you like them ^^

some of mine will still be on the paper with the post mark and some will be off.

At I use them for altered art work either is OK with me.

Hugs
