Altered Vintage Gloves Swap

I was inspired to create this swap by the lovely picture above and a pair of vintage gloves that I received in a swap. You will embellish and alter a pair of gloves (old or new) to become a piece of art to display...maybe next to your altered jar or bottle from our previous swaps:) Don't worry if you don't have a pair of old gloves in your stash, they are readily available at thrift stores, bridal shops and the bridal department of craft stores for a very low price. You can tea dye your new gloves to make them appear vintage if you desire.

FUN STUFF: Alter one pair of gloves for your partner. This is sender's choice, but should reflect a vintage theme or style. Feel free to embellish with beads, buttons, lace, embroidery, trim, etc. The gloves are intended to be displayed when finished, not worn by the recipient.

NOT SO FUN STUFF: The sign up time is short, but the send date is much later; which gives us all plenty of time to find the gloves and create a work of art for your partner. Please send & rate in a timely manner.
