When Life Hands You Lemons . . . Make Invisible Ink!!!

This is a secret message swap. :o)

Materials needed:

Lemon Juice
Toothpick or Fine Paint Brush
Unlined Paper
Ball Point Pen

Using the lemon juice as ink, dip your toothpick or paint brush in it and write a secret message to your partner. Share something about yourself that isn't already on your profile for the whole world to see. Something "secret".

On the other side of the paper, write a "cover letter" with a ball point pen to disguise the fact that you've written a secret message. (It would be strange to mail a blank piece of paper, right?)

I read that the invisible "ink" works for rubber stamps too!
I'm not sure how long it takes for the invisible "ink" to dry, so allow at least 24 hours just to be safe.

To reveal your secret message, apply heat. Hold over a candle, use a hair dryer...I plan to simply iron mine. The lettering in lemon juice should turn brown.
