Affirmation cards #1

I like having affirmation cards to remind me that I should always think positive. I have little cards around the computer at work, and when I see them they make me smile :)

According to Wikipedia, an affirmation

"refers primarily to the practice of positive thinking—fostering a belief that "a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything." More specifically an affirmation is a carefully formatted statement that should be repeated to one's self and written down frequently. For an affirmation to be effective, it needs to be present tense, positive, personal and specific."

In this swap you will make 10 affirmation cards for 1 partner, according to the following "rules"

• The text on the card should be written in PRESENT TENSE, POSITIVE AND PERSONAL, e.g. "I'm beautiful and others see my beauty" or "I'm successful in my work". That is, you shouldn't write "I will..." but "I am..."

• The cards should be 3,5 x 2,5 INCHES, and in LANDSCAPE orientation, i.e. the longer side against the table and the shorter side upwards |===|

• This one is for NON RELIGIOUS affirmations. Anyone is welcome to start another swap with religious content.

• Make them beautiful and a joy to look at every day :)

• You should have at least 5 sent and rated type 3 swaps, and a rating of at least 4.8. No newbies for this one, sorry...

• There is only 2 weeks between signup and last send date, but since this is not a profile based swap you can start with the cards now if you like!

If there is an interest, I will make a series of this swap, and in time you'll have affirmation cards for each day of the year :)

There are lots of sources for affirmations on the web, search for "affirmations" in google and you'll get many hits.

I will angel if necessary, but we don't flake here, right ladies and gentlemen?
