Enchanted Pencils

Somerset Life-July 2009 had a small picture featuring altered pencils in an altered tin can & the result was precious. I found a similar picture on "Crescendoh" jennydoh.typepad.com-pictured above.

I use pencils ofter for sketching and would love some dressed up lovelies on my table! If you're more of a pen gal, I will be hosting an altered pen swap as well.

For this swap, decorate 4 pencils for 1 partner. Please base coat the pencils from top to bottom. Decorate the TOP HALF only (so they may be sharpened) with any ephemera-sheet music, maps, lace, bling..anything that would make a Somerset lover swoon.

The only restriction - NO GLITTER! Even after sealing it may rub off and no one wants wanton glitter on their precious papers.
