What is a Christmas magic yarn ball? Do you hide things in a ball of yarn, like Carnival King's cake?

A magic yarn ball is little goodies, eg pins,earrings,candy etc, hidden in a ball of yarn. A basic explanation is unwind a ball of yarn and then rewind it putting the goodies in as you rewind it to "hide" them.I will try and get a better explanation and post it on here soon :0) and yes any Winter Celebration is OK providing it is agreed with your partner :)

I loved the first magic yarn ball swap---but Australian customs UNWOUND my ball, and my partner got a mess of loose yarn and prizes. Any way to avoid this?

i done my yarn ball last night. it was fun doing it but it don't look much like a ball now. hope my partner like it though.

Received my Magic Christmas Yarn Ball and it is fantastic!! Didn't know you could get so many wonderful little goodies in a ball of yarn. Very thoughtful too...Christmas pins, earrings, scrapbook trinkets, bracelet, candle...to numerous to name. The little felt bag it was in was terrific. Thank you thank you...It was a delightful surprise!! Bama Fan - you're the best!

I was late sending to Abbehope but did post on 12th Dec, I did email her and have heard nothing back. Everything else I posted out that day has arrived at international destinations buit I don't know if this parcel arrived I will contact her again.
