Description:

This swap is going to be a standard sized note card swap with as much postage as you can fit on the envelope. This is a chance to use up a bunch of your .01 cent stamps, .03 cent stamps etc. Make sure you leave enough room for the address and the return address.

This will be just USA because the postal rates to send to Canada is .75 cents and .98 to send everywhere else, and we need to have enough room to write the address on the card. However, I will be posting an international version and if you are up to the challenge, PLEASE JOIN!

Include a nice note on the note card and answer one of the following three questions:

  1. How did you get into Swap-Bot?
  2. What is your favorite thing and least favorite thing about where you live?
  3. Where is the best or worst place you have ever traveled, and why?

Please do not join if you plan to advertise a business in the ratings or on the postcard itself. This swap is purely for fun, not for promotion. Thank you for understanding.

Newbies are welcome and encouraged to join, but no flakers! No recent unexplained 1's or 3's or no-sends, I will be checking profiles. I will also angel if necessary.

Happy Spring!!!

Please clairfy...So if it cost .44 cents. you would like 44 one cent stamps?

USAFwife 03/30/2011 #

I was told there isn't going to be a price change for the USPS.

I think you could use a combination of denominations, like a 10 cent stamp, a 3 cent, a 2 cent, a 1 cent, a 15 cent, two 5 cent stamps, and another 3 cent stamp. Wait, does that make it up to 44 cents? Uggh, I'm terrible at math, I'd probably put more than 44 cents on the envelope, but it sure would be pretty!! That's it, I'm joining!!

Do you know if the postage can be on the front of the envelope only, or on the back too?

@USAFwife the postage change is only for parcels, media, and postcards. letters aren't going up, but everything else is.

TO CLARIFY:: I went on the USPS website and it is really confusing and I know that postcards are going to be changing, but either way, I wanted to host this swap because I think its going to be fun. No you do not have to put 44 .01 stamps on there unless you want to. Like rhinoluvr said, mix and match postage!
