Eurovision is almost a reason for me to move to Europe.. I LOVE THE MUSIC CONTEST!!!!! You are so lucky to be near it... what wonderful music... and people... ooooo I am so jealous... LOL

We won in 2009, so the contest was here in Oslo last year ... it was SO COOL to have it here again, fantastic!! :-D

Leisha: I hadn't discovered Swap-bot yet last year, if I had I would surely have joined your swap! :o) Are you like "everyone else" who is sick to death of Fairytale, or are you like me who still LOVE the song and sing along with great pride? ;o) I love Alexander Rybakk, he is SO cocky and full of him self it's just amusing. :o) What do you think of Haba Haba this year Leisha?

@RenVonH I don't think the ESC is broadcast in the US actually, AFAIK it isn't. But anyone anywhere can watch it live online, they stream it on the official ESC website. So, anyone with a computer and internet access, at least. :-)

I was kind of sick of 'Fairytale' for a while, just because it was EVERYWHERE ... but I never stopped liking it, it just got to be too much at one point. But it's a wonderful song and I still listen to it. A very well-deserved record-breaking victory! :-D

In 2006, when Lordi won, we sent Christine Gulbrandsen ... 'Alvedansen', remember? A sweet song, but of course it didn't stand a chance against the might of the monsters ... !! :-D As for 'Haba haba' I think it has a lot of good points ... it's not the winner (which is GOOD! we'd be crazy to really want to win again so soon!) but it has the potential to do pretty well. I'm happy with top ten, top five is fantastic. I mean any year, not just this year. :-) 'Haba haba' has several weaknesses too but first and foremost it's a fun song, it gets people dancing and gets the party mood going. Which is so important for any ESC entry. I preferred Susperia this year, but I'm happy with what we ended up with anyway. Actually, anything from our final other than those rockabilly idiots would have been fine by me ... >:-)

I agree the rockabillies were just irritating! I'm a huge fan of Babel Fish, and loved their song, but it wasn't a ESC-song. I think Haba Haba sounds like a mix of the French song from last year and Waka Waka. . . But I will be more than happy to be surprised ;o)

I watch online... the delay bugs me but I love the music... have a friend from Norway that gets the cd's for me after the finale's.. my daughter and I sing Destiny (english version of Molitva) and I have been waiting for her, my daughter, to do Satellite and Secret Combination.. I love Alexander and my son sings Believe >>> I think I need to move to Europe LOL
