DOD: April 2011 - Easter Themed Dotee

For the next in this series of swaps we’ll be celebrating the festival of Easter!

Your aim? To create a gorgeous Dotee doll with an Easter theme.. I’m not limiting this to the religious aspects of the festival, or the cutsie aspects, so it’s literally anything goes – the flowers that bloom around that time (e.g. daffodils) Easter bunnies, and chicks, Easter baskets, religious symbolism (Easter eggs, palm leaves etc) can be the theme of material you use or the shape your Dotee takes. As long as it's got something to do with Easter you’re good to go.

These swaps are international as Dotees are quite light to send.

Swap Details:

• Dotees should be 3-6 inches long, not including the tail or hanger
• Dotees can have any type of face (painted, clay, embroidered, felt etc, anything goes)
• Dotees can be embellished but bear in mind that excessive embellishing may up your postage prices
• Dotees must not have arms or legs
• Hangers can be ribbon or beaded
• Tails should be beaded.

These swaps should overlap for sign up (I’m sorry this one has been delayed,) but you will have 4 weeks to complete it (shorter time than usual – sorry – won’t happen again.) Profiles will be checked before partners are assigned.
