Description:

I want to start playing x-slips again. I haven't seen any in years. X-slips are little slips of paper that have two or more snail mail addresses on them. At the top it says something like Make 5 fb s for #1, move #2 up to the first place, and put yourself as #2. Copy 10 times. (Or instead of friendship books it could say send 2 sheets of stickers to #1, or a recipe, or postcards, or any other little mailable thing.) Copy 10 times means you make 10 copies of the slip (very easy in this computer age!) and send them out to ten other people.

For this swap you will make 10 xslips for each partner with your name and address on each of them. This will be round one. I will have another round after this. Once you get the x-slips from your partners add your name to them. This will give each x-slip 2 addresses on each. For round 2 we will send them to partners for them to choose if they want to grant some of the x-slip wishes and add their name or pass them on.

I hope this makes sense. I can't think of a better way to start an x-slip swap. I am open to suggestions.

I was given only 8 swap partners instead of 10...is that correct?

Mom22HeartBreakers 03/ 1/2011 #

Yes because only 9 people signed up including yourself so then 8 partners.
