Description:

I wanted to do something different than the usual matchbox swap.

For this swap you will take one box (any size as long as it is bigger than a matchbox), in either wood, papier mache or plastic and decorate it with a kawaii theme. Please no paper or metal boxes.

You could decoupage it with memo sheets. Cover it with stickers. Use 3D embellishments. Paint it. Decorate it with decotape. As you can see, there are alot of things you could do. Have fun with it and make something you would like to receive yourself.

And lastly, please put some kind of kawaii surprise inside the box. It could be stickers, a cell phone charm, a roll of decotape or even something kawaii you made yourself. There's no dollar amount on this swap but please don't send junk.

Now for the rules: This swap is international and open to swappers with ratings of 4.5 or higher.

You must have your profile filled out with kawaii likes / dislikes. Just saying "I like kawaii isn't enough". Having your likes / dislikes really helps your partner get an idea of what to send. If your profile is not filled out I may drop you from the swap. I reserve the right to ban swappers at my discretion.

EDITED: Recently some of my swaps and swap descriptions have been copied word for word or almost word for word. This is disrespectful and rude. I put effort into creating and hosting my swaps and I do no appreciate my work being copied or my name being maligned or even used to bolster someone else's reputation. Please don't copy my swaps! And please, don't be fooled by the imitations or plagiarized versions. Thank you.

great swap! i'd love to do this! i know you said no paper, but could the box be from hard sturdy cardboard? i have a few square sturdy giftboxes made from cradboard.

as long as the box isn't flimsy it's fine. when i think of papier mache boxes (what i use alot) i think they are nothing more than heavy heavy cardboard.

This is a great idea! because you can decorate it the way you what and have fun with it and its not expensive.

great that you think it's a great idea sugasunshine, but it would have been greater if you actually sent something for the swap :(
