I "borrowed" this idea from another swap! I thought this was really cool for me and I know that my son would love it, too, so... Fill a package with 25 small, wrapped gifts. Your partner will open a gift a day leading up to Christmas! You can number the gifts 1 through 24, or leave it a random luck of the draw, but please make sure the gift to be opened on christmas is special and identified as "christmas day." Because this is a big effort swap, I have to set some big rules: You must have been rated in 20 swaps. No history of no sends. A rating above 4.8 All items must be new or like new (unless they are vintage,) and in good condition. No dirty, "clean out your stash" types of items please! Some good ideas for the kids are crayons, coloring books, balloons, "make it kits", hot wheels, lip gloss, stuffed animals, stickers, hair stuff, art supplies, school supplies, etc. Of course you'll make it age/sex appropriate, but make sure to put in the comments section WHO this package is for, age/sex, likes/dislikes, etc. That way their partner can put together a package they'll really like! Handmade is always appreciated! I reserve the right to ban anyone, and will check and weed out the swap prior to assigning partners. I am making it US only so we can be assured the packages arrive before 12/1/07. Feel free to set up other international swap if you desire.

I'm signing up for my son, Collin. He will be nine in January, and likes art, music, sports, Naruto, Pokemon, inventing, science, "special" rocks (like geodes or quartz - or the colored and polished stones), boxes to put stuff in, robots, candy, and money!

Sarah is 17 and she likes Sponge Bob, nail stuff, earrings, hair tyes, costume rings size 9, eyeshadows and hair stuff. Her fav color is bright pink and black and all types of blues and neon greens.

This will be for my daughter Alicen. She's 11. She likes nail stuff, earrings, thick hair ties, lip gloss, music, collecting state quarters, stickers and rocks. She loves Camo, especially Blue. She likes hip hop music , like Fergie and Avril Lavigne. She loves to draw, so things like markers, colored pencils, that type of stuff would be cool. She plays basketball. She's more tomboy than girly-girl. If you need more ideas just holler.

If possible, I would like this to be for both my kids. You could mix up the boy and girl stuff, if that's not a problem. My daughter Kayla is 11 and likes camoflauge, skulls, the colors pink & black together, nail stuff, High School Musical and Zac Afron, she writes to a couple pen pals so any stationery, pens, etc. My son Garrett is 9 and likes Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh, Star Wars, and he loves to draw, color and craft, so he'd love cool pens, paper, markers, paints, etc.

The package for Collin is all set to take to the post office tomorrow. Alicen had alot of fun trying to find just the right things for him.

The first box we got wasn't big enough so we went and got a little bigger box to fit it all. I hope he enjoys it all,
