Description:

I like to get stuff in the mail everyday BESIDES the local grocery store ads! So, I guess i need to send something out to get something in. Every Sunday I will post the Ultimate year of Happy Mail swaps for that week. There will be one for each day that the mail carrier picks up mail. Some will be themed, some will be random, but ALL of them will be able to be mailed with ONE stamp in a 4x6 or business sized envelope. If you joined them all you would be sending and receiving 303 envelopes. You do not have to join them all, but it is nice to get mail everyday. To recap you will have: *ONE partner *send one envelope with that days requirements *on the back of the envelope you will write Ultimate Year of Happy Mail #? (?=what number swap it is)

*Swap #6-make a stuffie.....BUT DO NOT STUFF IT. Leave an unsewn space so your partner can stuff it and sew it up when they get it, but you will send him flat and UNSTUFFED. Must fit in a 4x6 or business size envelope. Sender's choice on design of stuffie.

*to keep these swaps down to one stamp remember this rule, set the filled envelope on the table, put your mouth level with the table and try to blow the envelope. If it moves, you only need one stamp.

I am setting the first week up very early, so feel free to watch until the time gets closer, but make sure to check every Sunday in 2011 for that week's new swaps.

Ok. I have a crazy question. I have never made a stuffie and the picture you have on this swap looks like my cellphone case, which looks like a baby sock. I don't want to send the wrong thing. Should it be a felt or fabric animal? Can it be just a printed piece of fabric cut out? Does it need to have many hand or machine sewn pieces? Can fabric glue be used? I would like to join but I don't want to disappoint. Thanks! = )

It can be felt OR fabric, it can be a cutout piece that has a design like the picture. It can be glued as long as it stays, but sewn is preferred

I have these two weeks of work coming up where I'm going to be there for 50 hours each of these weeks....sewing my stuffie during that time will give me something to do.... "smiles" that and writing a story for another swap. love this idea, won't join them all, but in 3 so far ;)

I have already made my stuffie. This is the first time I have ever made one. I hope who ever gets it loves it.

I'm new in US, so i have a mail questions:

1) What is the max. weight for one stamp? 2) Is the 0.44$ stamp is the right one for this swap? will it be enough for a 4*6 inch envelopes?

Thanks, Sarah :)

Alphachick, thanks for organizing this. I have a newbie question--what if I need to put on two stamps? If it is OK with me, is it allowed?

KraftyKaren 12/31/2010 #

Is there a specific size the stuffie has to be? Or can it be any size that will fit in the 4x6 or business sized envie?

I'm new to Swap-Bot but I'd like to join this swap. Is that OK? I'm unrated. Do I send one everyday? Or how often do you sign up to continue? Weekly? Just tell me the rules and I'm in. Sounds like fun and I aim to please.

Want to join but I'm in Canada...

AlphaChick 01/ 4/2011 #

if you need to put more than one stamp, it is no problem. newbies can join, each swap is seperate and each swap is for one swap. one stamp can carry up to one ounce
