Description:

We're coming up on 'the Holiday' as they refer to Halloween in Salem, Mass., and I thought of the possible artistic themes one might find on headstones that reflect the season. Skeletons were the first thing that came to mind.

But Colonial period cemeteries aren't a dime a dozen and skeletons are kinda not that fashionable any more so rather than limit the people who can join, we'll go with email images. ;-)

In this swap you'll find an on-line image of your favorite skeleton headstone (assuming you have one... and yes, if you have a photo of it, feel free to upload and share) (please keep in mind I'll be insanely jealous, FYI) and email the link or image to your partners. Any kind of marker will do, from any time period, we're just looking for skeletons.

Let's go with 3 partners, unless we'd like more, and we'll do a quick turn around as I'm assuming I can find Susanna Jayne easily. ;-) (lol Because it's ALL about me! Bwahahahahaaa!)

Any questions, don't hesitate to call me on the carpet. =D

lol I think the next time the partners should match the people who joined count so we all get to see! =D

I've sent all of mine out. I wanted to send everyone a link to a really cool one I found on Flickr from Scotland. I'm not sure if I like it most because it has not head, or the length of it's finger bones. It's really fantastic: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8047619@N08/2963299011/

For those that would like to see mine that are not in my group here's the link to the skeleton art from the fountain in Nurnburg, Germany that I took: http://www.flickr.com/photos/deeznikon65/5002080294/
