I'm sorry, I'm new here. I don't quite understand. Do we send little creative prompts that ask a question and then send of these creative prompts to entice someone to be more creative in their journaling beyond writing about the everyday activities?

Yes, we will go write creative prompts to send to our partners to help them in journaling, To me is very boring to write mine prompts, I´m excited to receive prompts for other person with questions maybe that I never thought about writing before. UP DATE: I´m tracking my parcels sent to my partners and both are STOPED in Rio de Janeiro since 09/13, so, I open a ticket with Postal System asking why they do not sent my parcels to their countries yet, I wait for news, both of mine partners was comunicated too. Thank you.

UP DATE: Thew aprcels are both stoped on Brazilian Customs ready to sent to their countries but they not told me when it wil occur, so, I will expect upt till October 15 for some news, thank you.

Hi friends from "Send me prompts an make my journal happy", I´ve just received a UNFAIR rate from one of my partners from Jennifer Ramey ( crochetjunkie ) she gave me ONE because she can expect more than 15 days to arrives of my parcel that left my country that was in customs.

I always sent messages all about to her, sent in her profile, PM´s her twice , always sent her the traking number (Yes I´m soooo irresponsible that sent her parcel with postal tracking number and confirmation delivery!), and left a message in our Swap for everybody can see it and news up to date.

She said that is so desapointed that I´m the hostess from this Swap, Yes, I´m the hostess and sent her parcel and always comunicated with everybody in this Swap. I think she should consider that no pass after all 15 days that my parcel left my country because it wass in customs, It is an International Swap and parcels from here always spent more than 30, 40 days to arrive from here to other country. It will be a pleasue to have Postal System like in the Estates or other place in the World but here things are different and I think in other places as well. It is pity that she do not read my profile to expect days of arriving from Brazil to her country.

So, who it is really desapointed is me! I always comunicated first with every partner of mine who I´m expecting a parcel to ckeck if happended something as I said in my profile, but, not have the same consideration with rate an ONE????.

You can see your parcel in my Flickr album and I always sent messages and feedback too her. No answer, just an unfair rate without ask or sent me a simple message. If it is extremely necessary I show the confirmation ticket registration to her address if somenone need to see it.

Andrea, I have seen it. It doesn't change the fact that I haven't received the swap. I have reported you to Rachel for the harrassment and have blocked you from sending me more messages and comments on my profile.

EXACTLY, IT HASN'T BEEN DELIVERED YET...SO THAT MEANS I HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT...SO THAT MEANS THE 1 RATING IS DESERVING.

@crochetjunkie technically because you haven't received the swap, you could rate a "1". But why would a swapper do that when tracking info indicates the parcel hasn't been delivered yet and therefore is still in transit, still awaiting its destination, in between destinations? It seems more appropriate to wait until the tracking info is complete and indicates delivery has been made and then if you haven't gotten it, then you could say you truly hadn't received it. In this rating opportunity it seems you are following the "letter of the law" (I haven't gotten it so ... the 1 rating is deserving) instead of the "spirit of the law" (the FAQs make allowances for International mail taking longer, even moreso from one country than another, and the fact it has not been delivered yet according to tracking). This swap is out of the sender's hands as to the time it is taking to be delivered. I don't think giving as much as 90 days allowance for this package to arrive is unrealistic, especially with the tracking indicating this delivery is still in progress.

I saw that my partner removed the ONE rate, She blocked me so I can not send PM messages or leave a comment to her profile, so, I´m here to say thank you to her and I hope that my parcel arrives to your home quickly. I´m always in contact with the manager of the local Post and always (almost everyday since 20 Sept) call do the Postal Customers Claims to get up to date with all my registraded parcels outside and inside Brazil, I run 2 crochet flowers e-shops called Joanoca Brasil and have more them 500 customers on demand with pre orders every day since 2008.

I will also will post my comments in the swap board and also I will send an e-mail to all member of this swap (include my partner) as I did in the first time notified that she removed the ONE rate.

Yesterday I was journaling and I saw a lovely text from "Art Journaling Magazine" number 1 - page 132 from Somersetstudio, I could not copy the image page to place in my Flickr album because my scanner machine is broken and gone to fix it, so I will type the only the text:

"Make sure that you have an understanding of the words that you say or do not so say. Things that you do not say or write can have just as great of an impact as things that you do say and write. Always be polite with others. It is hurtful to people. If you do not extend the same courtesy to them as they have to you. Take time to make people smile"

I also always thank you to all, include my partner, I can understand reviewed the most of replies here, sorry not to thanks each one in private messages as I did with some of yours in the beggining, because I read in english, after that I think in portuguese to replay in english maybe consume more time than others that english language is a native and so easy to type and understand.

If someone would like to learn portuguese one day it will be a pleasure to teach, my e-mail is open to all want make friends instead war. I learnt this broken english helping english native or not native people in my e-groups that could not understand portuguese and always want to make friends with another culture and customs, or just by friendship but, it is a long and lovely story...
