Embrace the Blur

I love Themes & Challenges in photography, it lets me think outside of the box....and sometimes just gives me the motivation i need to create.....so please join me for the first in many.....

We photographers spend our lives avoiding blur. We shoot fast, hold our breath, and pray for stillness. But blur is part of life, and this theme is all about embracing blur: using it to draw the eye, create a sense of motion, and show life more for how it feels than how it looks.

A Few Notes:

1. Digitally-added blur is not allowed! You need to create the blur in-camera.

2. Remember, this theme is not called "photos with a little blur in them." It's called "embrace the blur!" So make sure the blur is an important part of the photo.

3.Some ideas to help you

As with any challenge, let it be a learning curve and sometimes that means stepping out of our comfort zone.....but please don't stress over it, this is all about fun. All skill levels are welcome
