Altered Scrabble Tile

wow! thank you for making this swap! I logged into swapbot a few hours after I posted that comment and I thought that somebody read my mind until I found your comment! hehe!

I do have a question...what do you guys use to make the clear coating on the top? Is it diamond glaze, mod or ??

VJP mentioned Diamond Glaze once and I bought some and loved it. I think, if I remember correctly, she has since moved onto another product, but I can't remember the name...Why do I feel like a stalker now? :-)

Diamond glaze will work as will any other clear glaze. I'm not at home so I can't remember the name of the one I use. Also a few coats of mod podge works too :) I'm watching for now - if I have the time I will surely join!

There are many things you can use. I have found the PERFECT size acrylic sticker to add on. They do hold well and it gives a nice finish. BUT, you can use Diamond Glaze or similar products.

I use epoxy resin to seal mine.

NOTE: its some pretty powerful stuff so if youre working outside for some ventilation and accidentally get some on your hands, DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT stick your hands in a chlorinated pool to rinse it off them....ohhhhhh the chemical buuuuuuurn lol

I really hope you will do another of these swaps in a month or two. I am new and can't sign up for this one. Waaaa Maybe next time.

The glaze I use is called Triple Thick - and I'm wearing one of my pendants today :)
