I haven't sent a homemade postcard before (I always hand deliver them, heh...). What do you use? Can I make one from an index card and just glue stuff on it? How do you make sure stuff doesn't fall off? Can you put slightly 3D things on them (ahemBedazzlesahem) or will that catch in the mail machines?

Sorry for all the questions! Thanks!

WOW! 20......... that's a bunch! And I'm guessing they will go into an envelop to send to our partner??

That's a lot to do in 2 weeks, especially when each has to be different. Watching for now.

@alexalgebra You can embellish them however you'd like. What I do alot of times to ensure mine stay in tact is to cover the entire front with clear box tape. It makes it sturdier, it keeps any embellishments/markers/pens from getting ruined should it get rained on and it keeps the embellishments on better. What I do to make my own cards, is to either use thick, sturdy scrapbooking card stock or I'll glue two 4x6 in index cards together, with the blank sides facing out. That puts it at about the correct thickness.

@snowqueen1426 Yes they will all go in one envelope to one partner so that partner can use them in future postcard swaps they are in.

@sweetypiedie Well, since it's not profile based, you can actually start making your postcards now. That gives you over a month to get them made and ready to go.
