This is a journalling swap.

You will need a spiral notebook for this swap. The notebook should look like a school notebook, one subject. 10 1/2 by 8 is usually the size.

In your journal you must include the following:

1) 5 Character Bios: In this you will create 5 characters that will star in your short stories. Each character must have a picture (can be a magazine cut out, a celebrity picture, a drawn picture, etc.) and have a character summary (can include personality traits, hobbies, interests, relationships, etc.).

2) 3 Locations: In this you will create 3 locations where your stories can take place. They could be the main location, or can be places your characters go to or mention for only a second. The locations must be mentioned in each story, all three. The location pages must have a picture of that location (either drawn or pasted in) and the name of that location. It could be as simple as "Stacy's Room".

3) the Prompts: You will use 3 song titles to use as inspiration for your 3 short stories. your titles should be the titles of the songs you choose. So, you get to choose your songs for this.

Because the song lyrics already tell a story your version should be a retelling of that story in your own ideas. As long as you have the basics of the song that's ok.

So recap: You are writing 3 short stories that include your 3 locations in each story, and your 5 characters mentioned in each short story. you do not have to focus on all of your characters. A name mention is fine. (ex) on Stacy's desk the names Regan <3 Terrance was engraved in rough strokes...)

You choose how many pages you want for your short stories. #Whatever amount sounds best for you.

The 1st two steps are to paint a picture in your head for when you read the actual short stories.
