Description:

This is a Mail Art Swap. Pick a cup and decorate it. Put a stamp, and don't forget to leave a place for the address. You do not, I repeat, DO NOT wrap it. You stick what ever postage needed straight on the cup (or maybe in it), and write the address on it. Document the final project and the process of sending the cup. The documentation is for in case the cup will not arrive, as this is a risky swap. If you do not get your cup, contact your partner and they will send you the documentation. We will not give rating of 1 on this swap, as too much hang on the post people. Be ready to the option that you will not get a cup, and might end with just the pictures sent be Email.

You may wrap your cup only in the event that the post office clerk will not agree to accept it, and I would suggest you try sending it from another branch first. Try to document this as well.

I will check your rating and will bend people with no sends, so don't think you can duck this one, even if we will not give bad rating for not getting anything, but I know you wont.

I can't resist this one! I already know not to try and mail it from my local postoffice - that is one cranky dude.

This is funny but I too have a cranky postal worker so won't try it as it won't fit in the post box

lol wow my Postwoman is ALWAYS cranky. Sorry you have to lick stamps all day, but you get paid for it so stfu. I've cleaned toilets more cheerfully than I've EVER seen her.

Well, the people in my local post office are always cheerful and happy, so I'm eager to try this. I though I can stick the custom form inside the cup.

Oooooh, this is an awesome swap idea! THANKS!

Hi all. I went to the post office and asked them what stickers should be on a package this size and weight. This can give you a good indication on how big your cup should be.

Frogglin 04/10/2010 #

Sorry m'love, I gotta drop :(

blazespirit 04/16/2010 #

Does it matter what type of cup we choose?

danit 04/18/2010 #

No. it doesn't. It can be plastic if you like. Big, small, what ever suits you. I use a tall one so I'll have sufficient space for all the postage stickers.
