ATC challenge Set of 3

was hoping to do a trio (numbering them so recipient would know what order to place them in) of a beach scene and use sandpaper (had joined a sandpaper ATC swap but the host never assigned the partners so I dropped from it) on each but after reading it indicates same item cannot be used on more than 1 of the ATCs, I do not have any tiny seashells (was going to use die cuts of sea shells) so that would not work either

Sounds like a lot of fun! I'll be watching for now! =)

i'M WATCHING 4 now till i work out if my finances can allow me postage 4 more as i have some of a lot of those things .i ALSO HAPPEN TO LIVE NEAR SEA. I so do hope can make it . Smiles col

card 2: can have sand paper but you would need to have other things from the list.

so you can have sand paper on each card but then you must have another item from the list. That way you can say, yes there are different things from the list

You can not just have sand paper on all three. thats why you can do 1 item or a combination of many items.

I think your idea is a good one (beach scene) so just see how different element work on each card

I can use sandpaper, then blue or clear saran paper over blue paper to be water on another and will have to think what to do on 3rd, now I see why this is titled 'challenge'

I just had to join 'i'LL FIND cash some place. But a question please they don't all need to be a sceen of beach do they can they be set of 3 different sceens. One more thing what is saran paper not heard of that might it be known by something else I will know? Smiles Col

the clear wrap you wrap food in to put it in the fridge. Hmm cling wrap.......plastic wrap.......saran I think is the brand, I buy generic so my cling wrap only clings to itself! If your cards are heavier, then to send overseas maybe about $1.20 USD. I just sent a matchbox to Italy and it cost me $2.20 usd, so not too bad. But of course I always hope my partner will be in USA, because of cheaper postage.

You can creat a scenic set or do each card different.

Cling wrap sure got plenty of that, I was confused as in Aussie we don't have that brand and as i also get cheap brand I have never ever seen it in blue. Well I'm going now to go see what is on my list I HAVE TO USE. tY 4 A GREAT IDEA. smiles Col

here you can get colors, i think just blue or pink and its a seasonal thing

PS: it may be trial and error learning to affix some of these things to cards. maybe use brads for wax paper and cling wrap

hI EVERY ONE i HAVE MADE MY 3 4 the set In card one i made using sand, small pebbals, tin foil and a coin. I used a clear double strengh base and places tin foil between layers so my partner does not get cut I also used sky paper between

In card 2 I used sky paper back ground sand paper in between I used glad wrap or saron and i used bubble wrap. In card 3 I reused tin foil and i reused AND PAPER BUT TO GEATHER I ALSO OSED THE BACK I TOOK OFF A WATCH AND A OLD SIM CARD FROM MOBIL PHONE SAME AS y cell phone also used them in different concept.I also embossed the tin foil and used paint AND I also intend to use a washer. As you said we can use other stuff to make it work i have used the sky paper and I used kinder glitz. My set is a beach,a water fall sceen and a desert sceen please tell me candy if this is what u ment so can correct it if it is not ty. Smiles Col

I was hoping that the cling wrap would do as it does cling to it self as i needed to roll it to make water fall and it did. SMILES COL

Watching for now, but I love this sort of thing! My only concern is that I'll receive cards that won't fit in a trading card sleeve, but I've been wanting to make an ATC box anyway. I'll hopefully join later!

you can get cling wrap in any color. my mom used to have purple. not sure WHERE you get it tho. maybe restaurant supply store? hmm

I made my cards, the only thing that is chunky on it would be the washer that I used for the head on 1 card, other wise, i chose sand paper, bubble wrap, tin foil, gum wrappers, and a washer.

I used my sand paper 2 ways, the front, and i used the back of it. I used the fine grit sand paper. But course grit would be great for the beach scenes.
