Description:

I am doing a series of these swaps with the alphabet. So if you decide to join all 26 swaps, you will have 26 new ATCs. This is a real simple ATC swap.

You will have 1 partner and you will sent them 1 ATC.

The main requirement is that your ATC must be about something that starts with the letter "K". Some examples would be ... key, kaleidoscope, kangaroo, Kansas, Kentucky, karate, katydid, kazoo, keepsake, keg, Kenya, etc. You choose, as long as the theme is about something that starts with the letter "K".

Just to clarify, say I chose "key" for the theme of my ATC. My main idea about the ATC would be an key. There may be other items on the ATC that starts with the letter "K", so on the back of my ATC, I would write the word key.

You can use any media you wish. Please don't just put a sticker on it and call it done. Stickers are fine, as long as you do something to go with it.

Must be standard size ( 2.5" X 3.5" ) and sturdy.

Please make sure you put your info on the back of the ATC. Also, please note on the back of the ATC what your "K" is. I think that covers it all for the ATC.

Anyone may join this swap as long as you have no 1 or 3 ratings in the last 3 months. Newbies, must have a filled in profile, not just a few lines.

If you have only 1 or 2 lower ratings and would like to join this swap, please PM me about your lower ratings with an explaination and I will look closely at your profile and get back to you about joining the swap.

You must have signed into Swapbot within 1 week of the last sign up date.

To me the hardest part of hosting a swap is having to ban swappers, I really hate that part. But I will ban anyone who has lower ratings and does not contact me about them and get my ok to join the swap. I only do this so as to protect the swappers that are involved in the swap, I do not do this to be mean. I really hate flakers and don't like to see anyone not get their swap that they signed up for.

I do not feel this needs to be said....but EVIDENTLY it does..... since this is a series of swaps.... if you have not sent the previous ATC that you are signed up for, you will be banned from the next swap. To me it only makes sense, if you did not sent the previous card, why should I assume you are going to send the next one. I am not trying to be mean or single anyone out, I am just trying my very best to make these swaps a good experience for everyone. I also understand that life happened, if you are banned from a swap because you did not send by the sent date, but do send and are rated by the next swap last day to sign up, you may join that swap. I DO take the time to check ALL 60-70+ profiles before assigning partners.

NOTE: Anyone who has completed less than 5 swaps....Since this is going to be a series of swaps, if you are in a previous letter and partners have been assigned and you have not signed in between the time of the last letter's partners being assigned and the day these partners are assigned ( 1 week ) , you will be banned for participating in this letter ATC. An example to clarify: The "A" ATC partners were assigned on 12/2/09. The "B" ATC partners will be assigned on 12/9/09. If you are signed up for "A" ATC Swap and have not signed into Swapbot since 12/1/09, you will be banned from "B" ATC Swap.If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

I reserve the right to ban any swapper that I feel iffy about.

I will give a three week sign up time and two weeks to get your ATC sent out to your partner.

Note: At another member's suggestion ( thanks SpeechieGirl ), I have decided that the beginning of each month while I am doing this series of swaps, I will do a " make up " swap for the letters that we have already done, incase anyone missed out on those letters.

If you have not received your swap, please let me know, so I can check and see if I can find out what has happened. If it is not an issue of international shipping or something else that can be straightened out, either myself or one of the members who has offered to angel will angel.

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND SWAP DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS BEFORE JOINING.

Please feel free to PM me or leave a comment here if you have any questions.

I am new to this swap-bot. It looks like a lot of fun, a great way to meet new people. I filled out the profile, but after reading someone else's I am not sure I have enough information. Would you look at it and let me know asap if I need to add more info. I have signed up and don't want to be banned if at possible. I also would like to do the missed letters up to this point. Question: The sample K above is it just that simple? or does it need to be more elaborate?

I love ATC and I like your idea for this swap series, however I am joining because most of partners do exactly like in the comment above.... just a letter on card ..... ( I was once on letter swap).... ATC is not just letter( cut out/ image ) on the card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I meant I am NOT joining

I do hope that everyone is aware that this requires more than just a letter on an ATC background.

I have missed all the letters up until now.. would anyone that missed any of the letters want to do a personal swap with me? drop me a line.. ps.. I do put effort into my swaps even though I have only done 2 atc's in my life thus far I think they came out really nice

just signed up for this! Excited to try it. I wouldn't mind having the whole alphabet too.
