what is Ravelry name...Is a website you put pic up to show what you made?

kgeslab 01/28/2010 #

yes, it's really cool. You can list your yarns and your projects and post pictures. They even have challenges, etc.

I love the idea of this swap, but how do i know what type of needles to send, etc. Is it sender's choice or receivers? I pretty much only knit small things like socks and stuffies, so larger needles would be useless to me. I'll be watching this swap - sounds like a really GOOD time!

I Love Ravelry! www.raverly.com They have a great search engine for free patterns..... Oh and they have a ravelry group for people who swap here!

All items are senders choice but if you want specific items than put it on your wish list. :D Thanks for watching

I need clarification on what you mean by a knitting journal....I don't know what it is! Sorry...it's probably my ignorance. Do you mean an actually agenda or book? Do we add patterns? Thanks for any insight you can give me!

Take a note book or any loose leaf paper.. decorate it with knitting stuff and patterns.

A knitting magazine, can it be a dutch one? I don't know if I can find an English one?

CdnChicka 02/19/2010 #

as long as the patterns are able to be desyphered in english.. like same pattern notes and stuff that would be fine.

I'm allergic to wool, but can knit with it (it usually has to be for a gift though.) I'd love a foreign knitting magazine, for me at least it doesn't even have to be decipherable! >)
