Big Giant ATC Swap of DOOM!

Oh this sounds like it would be fun.

Hi, Sounds great I love the idea of looking forward to 20 letters in the mail , is the 'Doom' bit a theme.............. or just completely open senders choice of theme? Thanks for organising this swap

This is an AWESOME Idea for a swap... But I wonder if someone could host a kids version??? ... My 11 Yr old has made SO many ATCs she just has in her own album that she is wanting to swap- This would be perfect if there was a kids version too! (just a thought!) :)

I'm only 20 so I don't have any kids but if someone else wants to host a kids megaswap they're more than welcome to do so, if they think they could get enough interest.

Sisterbear321 , why don't YOU host a kids swap??? I know my 9 year old niece has the same need to ATC as you discribed!

Whether or not I host another one, these sorts of swaps do come up every couple months, so keep your eyes open.

This sounds like a great swap. One question though, can they all be the same? I do a lot of block and screen printing which is perfect for multiples.

All media so yes printing is fine! I've done some silkscreening myself, some of my cards may be editions. I'd say it should be a closed edition, though, with the edition number on the back with the swap info.

That would be a nightmare to get all 20 swap partners international... I have such bad luck there. >_>;

So far that would be quite impossible as all but one participant is in the US.

Well I am about to join up so I am in Australia and yes, it will be all International for me :)

Speaking of postage, I wanted to calculate what the cost would be in mailing 20 ATCs all within the same month.

20 ATCs mailed with $.64 postage (the max if its lumpy, which mine always are) = $12.80

That's a hefty amnt to spend, but considering that everyone else is, too, I think its an O-kay budget.

(Of course I'm basing it on USA pricing. International can range for $.90 to a dollar or more.)

@tTheCrayonGuru - International postage is $2.10 each from Aussie - but if 20 people enjoy an ATC from me and I get 20 in return (if!) then I consider that money well spent :)

@Gosney6 has let me know she is running late on this swap due to legitimate issues--please keep this in mind when rating.

Oops! On at least some of my swaps I forgot to write the name of the swap. Please forgive me. No need to comment when you rate that I should have put the name of the swap. I intended to do it and ask for your forgiveness. However, I'm bothered by some people's comments that I should have included a greeting card, post card or some other type of card with my ATC. While that is a nice extra, it wasn't a requirement of this swap. I think it's unfair for raters to impose extra requirements that weren't a part of the swap.
