ö Puss in Boots Harajuku-style Fairy Tale Swap ö

This will be a fun and creative fairy tale--Harajuku-style--swap. If all goes well, there could be many more to come! With the upcoming Chinese New Year being the Year of the Tiger, this will be "Puss in Boots".

the swap: Send your partner a minimum of three items from this list of categories:

• something cat (please send something a Harajuku girl would love to receive, and please pay attention to your partner's preferences, don't send Hello Kitty if the person dislikes Hello Kitty)

• something related to the "boots" part of the story, like dressing up, being a dandy, looking good--very Harajuku!! (ideas: Japanese fashion mag, characters in costume, accessories, decoden, nail art, etc. etc. so many possibilities, just be sure to check allergy info!!)

• something related to the adventure part of the story--anything from gifts given to the king, to swordplay, to tricking the ogre ("ugly" dolls, handmade felt monsters, blindbox trinket, a mouse, etc.)

• something related to the happy ending--crowns, castles, princesses, treasure box, something sparkly, deco, etc.

the requirements: Please no Dreamworks/Shrek. You must send a package with a minimum value of $10 USD. You must send a minimum of 3 items from different categories listed above, you may send more, but please prioritize quality over quantity, and remember you may not receive as many items in turn. Check out the flickr group for ideas of what other members have enjoyed receiving. If you are crafty, you may send handmade items--make them items you'd be proud to show the world!

Please note, this is an international swap, so you may have to ship internationally. You may refer to the postal info thread if you are assigned an international partner.
