It's a COVER Up CD Swap

As it says on my profile I love cover songs! FYI, a cover is a remake. An artist takes a song recorded/performed by someone else, and re-records it in their own style. For instance, anyone other than Judy Garland singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Pretty much any Christmas CD is all covers. Whitney Houston's "I'm Every Woman" [originally by Chaka Khan] or "I Will Always Love You" [originally by Dolly Parton] are covers. Any tribute album is full of covers: a Tribute to Carole King, Led Zepplin, The Carpenters... these are a few of the CDs I have.

I have lots of awesome covers, but in my recent CD trades on here, occassionally there will be a new one! It's such an awesome discovery! The song is all new to me, yet I can still sing along, yay! I am greeeeeeeedyyyyy, I want more and more and more.

You will have 3 partners [I said I am greedy] and you will send each partner a CD with 15-20 songs [as many as you can fit] that are cover versions. Even though I like the surprise of no track list [and I do that sometimes], this time I must insist. You should include the title of every song, the artist performing it and, if possible, the original artist [so your partner can go look for the original version, if they have not ever heard it].

If you like, you can make a separate list with the original artists' names, outside of the track list, as there might not be space.

Make sure you put your name and the name of the swap on the CD itself. Groovy cover art is a plus!

Also, if my partners want to send me a 2-CD set I will not take it amiss... greedygreedygreedygreedy LOL
