Description:

For the New Year, I thought it might be fun to start a series of smaller projects that can be made in a weekend.

For the first project, you will be making 1 embroidered dish towel or flour sack for your partner. You can pre-purchase a dish towel or flour sack towel or make your own out of cotton. A typical size for purchased dishtowel is in the 20” x 28” range. The towel should have some hand embroidery or stitchery on them.

Requirements, 4.8 or higher, no recent 1s or 3s. Sign-ups by January 1st, send out by January 31st.

Free Patterns/Inspiration:

Free patterns by Bird Brain (not sure how long they will be downloadable, so if you’re interested download before the end of the year)

I've appliqued teatowels (that's what we call them downunder:) but never embroidered one so I guess I'll bite the bullet and have a go.

I think we call them teatowels, too! It's a fun project, I'm glad people are joining!
