Swap with the same person for a month.

This sounds like fun. Like a Secret Pal Exchange, only there is no "secret".

The only comment/question I have so far is should there be a $ amount value per package? I'd hate to see one person send a pkg that amounts to $3 and another a pkg that is valued at $20. I'm new to Swap-bot, too, so I'm still learning. Haven't ventured into starting my own swap, but enjoying participating.

And do you want this to be an international swap or only a certain country swap? Just some thoughts...

yeah, i agree with the money issue. cause 4 packages in a month plus shipping is alot of $. maybe if you add an item limit per package or a $ limit that would be helpful:)

How about 10$ per package Is this acceptable to everyone? We can do this international, I think it would be to limited to only get to know people in one country.

I think this is a great idea - would the Aug deadline be for the first package or to have all of them sent by then?

The first package. The first week of Aug, you have to have sent out the first package. Is this ok with everyone?

I have a swap just like this - Mail it Weekly - its just themed and a different person each week. I like the idea of getting to know one particular person :)

Sorry I didnt know you had a swap like this, One package I thought wasnt enough, With 4 packages you really have to know the person :) and get to do a lot of shopping for them!

I like the idea of this swap, however $40+postage international is a bit steep. And would you send to and recieve from the same person? This way you would really get to know each other and send similar cost/quality through the month. JulieB

Yes the whole month you recieve from the same person, thats the reason for the swap. MAybe you can email your partner if the postage is a lot and tell them that you are going to only send 2 packages to save on postage. Does everyone agree to that? So instead of 4 packages we ship 2 a month that are worth 20 each,

Ya know what, I think this sounds like fun. I'm pretty new too. I think you've given lots of options...$10 no problem...how many coffee drinkers plunk that down in a day for two fancy lattes! I don't drink em but I can get rid of $10 in no time and wonder where it went...at least this way, I get something in return!
