Description:

This a unusual swap, Each person will have 1 partner and to that 1 partner they will send a decorated plastic soda bottle full of profile surprises. They will send the soda bottle "naked". Also included in the bottle there needs to been a letter inroducing yourself to your partner. Okay i need to make this a little clearer, so here we go the price limit will be around 5$, Because i want some of the itmes in the bottle to be handmade not just store bought, So the spending limit for the store bought part will be $5 and the rest will be handmad hope that makes sense also the bottle size is going to be 16, 20 oz.

But you will really have to use your head on this one because the profile suprises have to fit in that small hole on the top of the soda bottle. ;)

Requirements, No no sends in the last 3 months must have a rating of 4.9 or above. Newbies welcome with full filled out profile, I will check every profile, And ban as I see needed.

Happy Swapping, If you have any questions or concerns PM me.

When we did this one a while back, I cut a 3 sided flap in one side, inserted my items and then taped it shut. The mailing label went right over the slot. Perfect!

Great Idea. :) I love it.

16oz, 20oz, 1L or 2L??? LOL too many different sized sodabottles!!

CrowsFox 10/12/2009 #

oh crud.. also.. what do you mean naked??

LadyStephanie 10/12/2009 #

Naked means put a label on the bottle, leaving the bottle unwrapped. Like a naked postcard does not get put in an envelope - see? Cool swap Lavender! Watching...

I am going to use a 16 or 20 ounce bottle.

Lavender72004 10/12/2009 #

Yes 16 oz- 20oz is the right size. Sorry i did not specify that,

I love this idea! But am not sure about meeting the deadline. How about a second one later? If you can postpone this an extra week or two I will do it, or if you start another that ends later. :)

hmmm... okok.. so do I superglue the top on, so it doesnt come undone in the mail? Any really truely the mail lady will take it like that?? hmm.. I really wanna do this one!

Yes you can send 'naked' plastic bottles through the mail. I've even sent a naked coconut to my mother when I was vacationing in Hawaii. =)

This seems really cool I kind of wish it was open to Canada too, but maybe in the future there will be some. Looks like a cool idea.

would a 16 or 20 ounce gatorade bottle be acceptable? it has a wider mouth on it...just askin'.

kimberlym322 10/13/2009 #

Is there a price amount???

pahasiga 10/13/2009 #

I sent recently a swap packed in a transparent yoghurt thing. I taped the address on with transparent tape as I usually do with my addresses. How the mail lady got her customs slip on it was not really my problem (although she had more problems with the cream carton as that was so small).

works great with a 2-liter pop bottle. then cut the 3 slit opening to stuff it!!
